Love the art and the gameplay !
I found a little con though : when I want to click on a syllable, it always click on the deepest which was sometimes frustrating because if I wanted to click a syllable in front another, I had to click on the part that doesn't overlap the other. I don't if I was clear haha.
WOW this game is so impressive, the audio and visuals are fantastic, and the narrative really complimented the game play
Great little game, with a very strong link between narrative and gameplay that made for a very fun experience.
As others have pointed out the presentation is just superb - the sound effects are great throughout, and very in keeping with the theme, and I love your pixel art!
Unique and really interesting idea !
I love the concept et the sounds are really great !
Good job !
Proc: great and unique idea | good music and sounds (especially voices) | cool art
Cons: sometimes one syllable is behind the other
Very creative title, I particularly enjoyed the music and SFX a lot. As other people said, it's at the same time tense and soothing. It was a fun to play game, though after some time it'd be nice to have more mechanics to "shake things up". That being said, I played to the end and was drawn to the narrative.
The concept behind picking the sylablles is very original, and works well. The only thing that is a little bit frustrating at times is that when people are too close together it's hard to see what they're saying. Maybe that's intended, but it'd be interesting if they moved in a way to prevent that. The SFX goes very well with the whole concept of the game, and it was lovely to hear them chanting.
The visuals are consistent and I like the color palette. Very nice presentation overall. And the game fits the limitation pretty well. Good job!
Really liked the concept behind the game, It's pacing its very good and the difficulty increases well. Great job!!
Hey! So I tried your game as well .. :) I have to say this game is great! Pretty concept and great SFX! :D It was fun playing this game...
This game really stands out for its concept and art. Really fun, good work!
That was really enjoyable, reminds of the Patapon, the art is simply outstanding in terms of visual and music/sfx, and the gameplay is very fun, simply one of the best submission to this jam.
Bravo and best of luck.
Now this is a very interesting game.
Great visuals, the designs of each god and the crowds getting destroyed by meteorites was quite a sight! And the system of syllables make the game so interesting.
Dividing long words into each syllable must've been a pretty interesting programming challenge, too. Really like that end result.
I also like the feeling of the game. It's a bit intense, but at the same time feels rather calm? just looking for the right sound across the screen.
Sometimes the syllables to overlap eachother and it's both a bit difficult to tell what the letters are, and to click on what you want. I do think the feeling of "crowded" adds to the game tho.
Very good entry, I loved it!
I just hope Patamomupotupumato will be safe.
Really cool concept! Had a lot of fun playing it! The audio is really good!
I'm not sure if this is intended but the little people have about the same saturation with the text they are saying, it's a little hard to see clear thru the mess.
That's a full 5 star for me! Cheers to me fellow Godot dev :D
The limitation and theme have been taken to the extreme, and I love it.
