Thanks a lot! For most of my browser games, I use no engine, just javascript and canvas. The source code for this one is avaliable at https://github.com/knexator/old_page/blob/master/tenetSnake/src/index.ts

When I realized that the background art was a flip flopping timer I grinned so wide, I love this. it is HARD and I still don't fully understand whether or not reversed time snakes respawn and if so how, but I love it and the music and sfx rock!

Loved the limitation method, but it was wayyyy too difficult; maybe separate 2+ modes of difficulty and that could be it!

Use of the limitation is nice but the execution is really well it deserves another star (4 instead of 3), games feels nice to play, shame there's no way to try the game again...

After dying, any direction key or WASD will restart

Limitation is 5 star here! Simple and straight to the point, good job!

Was a pretty fun game. My favorite aspect was the clock mechanic, making you manipulate your available time for the next round.

Nice game I really like the simple art and other mechanic. :D

Really liked the idea, though I felt like it missed the theme a bit. Lovely use of the limitation. Played almost 10 times but couldn't get more than 4.

This is a really cool concept!

Wow. very interesting, but very difficult, these random worms pissed me off)

The worms are your previous movements, I think.

Very cool idea. There are some issues where you can have one of the ghost snakes basically spawn right on top of you and die instantly, and it would be nice to have a real time score counter. Overall though, and fairly polished, fun and very creative game for a jam. Awesome work.
