Players can't directly harm the devil. They must lead it to harm itself.

None, I'm diabetic, unfortunately.
Nice art, I liked the boss design and attacks! Didn't know if I was activating the shield properly though and ended up winning after dying.
Thanks for playing!
The main indicator of you using shield is displayed in the circular meter next to your hp bar, though I'd initially planned for the character to change sprites after activating shield. As for the other bug, I'm guessing that you got hit by a barrel's explosion after touching it, cuz I got a similar experience of that during playtesting.
Pretty short, and pretty easy. Managed to beat the game by doing nothing. I like the concept though! Good work.
Like one of the previous commenter, I got stuck in a wall and the demon just killed itself even when I was out of health haha. I would've liked to have some sort of animation on the player when you use the shield, I wasn't sure if it was working until I noticed the blue bar at the top.
Having the demon destroy the TNT bars(?) in the losing screen is a smart choice to teach the player what they're supposed to do.
I'd also like to hear more about the game's connection to Buddhism. Besides the title, I couldn't tell. Is the demon or the player character inspired from Buddhist mythology..?
Thanks for playing!
For the shield activation, I actually had the sprites ready for them, but I barely had half an hour left to submit it, so I didn't include it in :(
As for the relation to Buddhism, I based it off how it's considered as the most peaceful/pacifist religion in the world, which is reflected on how the player can only shield itself and can't attack the boss. Though I suppose I can add in more elements to the game to better signify this. Either way, thanks for the feedback!
I liked letting the devil destroy himself, fun. I did get stuck in a wall, however, and that made me invulnerable to attacks as the devil finished himself off. Also, an indicator for the mouth laser and some sound and music would have elevated the game experience.
