Simple, responsive gameplay. The grappling hook/web mechanic pretty much worked perfectly. It was pretty easy and I think I could go on for a long time until I either am bored or fatigued.

Use of limitation and the theme was pretty much spot on.

The only negative feedback I have is that the background music is a little out of place. Maybe something more dire and dangerous sounding? I mean, since you're essentially escaping a raging fire.

Oh and that fire... is fire. sorry

Good game, I enjoyed the sense of impending DOOM the lava brought. The web mechanic worked well, possible ways to expand could be finding ways to improve the spiders web pull speed & making the level move faster. Good job, well rated!

I also made a game similar to yours where you have to run from lava But not for this game jam, I made it for another game jam. but your graphics are nicer looking. I liked playing it. Can you please play my game and tell me how it is?

Quite nice! As others mentioned, I also see it as a flappy-bird-like (is this a genre now? xD) However it's quite unique in it's own right and I think this would actually work quite well as a hyper-casual game for mobile.

The music is nice! Gives it quite a silly vibe, but in a good way. The graphics are definitely good enough, even though the lava is a bit out-of-place. Something vectorized like 2 - 3 layers of waves moving up and down, left and right could've maybe worked better? Not sure though!

The controls weren't super clear to start with. A little description or 2 frames of tutorial could've helped a lot I think. But once I got the gist of it, it's simple and fun

Overall, quite polished, simple idea.

Its kinda like flappy bird but also not like flappy bird. I like it. Maybe it would be a little bit more fun if instead of branches insta-killing you, you just get stuck under them and if you dont make it to the opening in time you are going to be pushed into the lava.

Took a second to get used to, but its really fun gameplay!
