I enjoyed it very much. I love the 1bit style. Later the levels get huge. You can cheat a bit by placing a cursor on an obstacle you want to avoid tho :)

I like it! Me and you actually had similar story concepts haha. The simple monotone graphics are great. Took me a second to figure out what was killing me (maybe add a note in the tutorial about the spikes?) but I enjoyed it. The balance seemed too easy, with the minerals being too easy to get given the low amount of damage taken.

Nice game concept!

Awesome, I came to the submissions searching for this :) . I had a similar idea but didn´t join the jam.  I though the game was set in the snow and wonder why I died not touching anything, later reading the description realize of the move limitations during the day. Looking forward for more updates.

Minimalistic game with a great play loop and challenging but not frustrating gameplay. Some more audio cues would make the mechanics easier to understand. Hope you'll add more features in the future!

The idea is pretty good but since the obstacles are random sometimes you don't have enough time to get to the end.

Do you move during the night?

Moving during the day is discouraged by having few resources.

Probably I have to explain it better in the description.

Ah I see, yeah I didn't even know of the mechanic.

Developer

In the first prototype you could only move during the night.

I added the possibility to move during the day in the latest iterations but seems a little bit confusing as it is right now.

Random is too random. Many levels impossible to pass

Seems strange to me. I create levels starting from the path from player to the base. Then I put obstacles avoiding that path. This way there should always be almost 1 path to reach the base.

You should see that the player starts always on top left and the base is usually on bottom right of the level.

Path really exist, but I can't get to the base because there are not enough steps.
