What an amazing game! I enjoyed it very much, I'm seeing in the comments that will be an update after the rating that will enable new upgrades, I can't wait to play it, I loved so much the gamefeel :D
This game was so freaking intense! I got super far and then died and then was very disappointed. I am going to try again though. I guess I got kind of reckless near the end just trying to get those last bullets in.
What a cool game! The boss design/progression of attacks was very impressive and I was excited to see what would happen next! It was also nice that the 'failure' part of the game jam was minimal as opposed to having to die to gain progress as many of our other games were :') After reading through some comments, I am excited to see how it feels after there are attack upgrades also ! Well done!
Second perfect rating i've given! This was a stinken awesome experience. The boss fight was legit and it kept becoming more and more intense and fun to dodge everything. The music was awesome. THE BEAM ATTACKS SHAKING THE SCREEN SHEESHHHH. Really awesome job! Maybe my only suggestion would be another upgrade that increases the player's attack speed! Felt a bit slow at the end, but I suppose that'd be on purpose since the enemy doesn't move (although if he started moving in the second half or just more as the level progresses, that'd be pretty cool) Great game :)
So great. Just so great. I loved everything - great immersive music, seemed to be in sync with those beautiful looking and feeling attack patterns. 6/5 Stars.
a super fun game, the use of limitation is very good, the concept is really fun but not so original, the graphics and presentation were amazing!
Thank you!
Very well-designed and executed, with some excellent usage of theme and limitation!
I see you did mention the bug about damage upgrades. Really the only thing I felt was a bit weak, top notch otherwise!
Made me forget that I am not a huge bullet-hell fan! Great work!
Thank you for playing!
Very well done, the concept of a single boss fight with a long upgrade loop was pretty cool. It would have been cool to see some offensive upgrades, as the player damage felt pretty low as the game went on.
Thanks for playing! There are some offensive upgrades in the game, but sadly they don't apper in the shop, due to a bug I couldn't fix before the deadline.
The attack patterns were cool as hell, but you should probably implement some mechanic that might increase damage slightly, as it took a bit too long to kill the boss.
Thanks for playing! There is a bug in this version that prevents some of the upgrades from appearing. I could not fix it before the deadline, so you unfortunately can't buy some of the upgrades. It has been fixed since then, but I did not want to upload the new version before the rating was over (as it has been fixed after the deadline).
Oh okay, that, makes sense then. I noticed that there was either regen or shield that reduces incoming damage upgrade, is it the same bug?
Yeah! Kind of sad, because there were some upgrades, that were a bit more interesting, and you can't use them, because of the bug.
It's okay I will check on it after the voting ends, if you are planning on releasing a patch. Also I might suggest setting limits for some upgrades, because regen makes you practically invincible at high levels.
Thanks! There will definitely be an update after the jam.
It reminded me a bit of Terraria because of the swords, jasjasj. Maybe it would have been better if the shop had opened with a keyboard key rather than a button, because I almost always hit it accidentally.
Thanks for playing! I agree with you. The position of the button is quite awkward. A hotkey would have probably been a better choice.
Really neat use of the limitation! I thought the art, music and concept was really cool. The mechanics of the different enemies and walls of bullets is awesome. Great job to everyone involved, you made an awesome game.
Thank you for playing!
Very cool game, but unfortunately i didn't succeed
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!
This is my first perfect score of this jam! Finished the game, it was so fun!
Eventually my strategy became never killing any of the gunman, then spam-purchasing health / healthregen, had an awesome time. Seriously this one is amazing y'all!
Thank you! We are glad, you had fun!
