What we did was we had it where enemies have their stats affected depending on the environment, and the player can control which environment is active

Pretty neat! Our games are pretty similar actually lmao :3 I honestly like the one color aesthetic too
This kinda addicting game , fits the limitation
Glad you enjoyed our game!!
In general I could have liked the game pretty much because I like those games a lot. However, the enemies had an attack range of way too far. I thought I dodged them, but that was not possible. Died in seconds since the waves got bigger, which was super sad. Also at least some sounds for the attacks and spells as well as at least an indication, that I have hit an enemy would have been really nice.
But I want to appreciate the look of the character and the slimes as well as I liked the music. This is a great basic concept and I emphasize to keep working on that project a little bit more because some really minor improvements can bring that game to shine. Keep on working, your job so far has potential.
Indeed, the range for enemy attacks is too big, and sound indications were details that have been forgotten. As we were rushing last minute to submit the project. As you mentioned we need to improve on minor details but those details are the important ones. In future projects, we going to do more testing and try to pay attention to those details. Glad you enjoyed our game and thanks for the feedback!
Loved the art and the sheer amount of enemies. Was a bit confuse about how much damage the slime was taking and when player takes damage. So some audio or visual clues regarding those would be helpful. But really enjoyed
Glad you enjoyed playing our game! The indication of being attacked and attacking and sounds was a detail we forgot as we were rushing last minute putting the game together. We will keep it noted so we do not miss it in future projects. Thanks for the feedback.
I liked it, but it’s not clear where you get the damage from, and it was fun to wet the slimes
It was fun to kill the slimes.
Glad you enjoy it!! Thanks for playing our game.
Things I liked: I like the idea of having their stats affected by the environment. I also enjoyed the music, as it wasn't just a typical synth beat with drums. The art itself is a great style and helped draw me in while I was playing.
Improvements: There is a bug where the options menu stays open if you do not physically close it. It's hard to play the game with it open. I also had a hard time understanding the effectiveness of my attacks. Adding some sort of health bar that can go up and down on the enemies, or even an audio clip that plays would make a great addition.
Thanks for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed some of the touches and features we implemented. As for the UI bug I am not sure how you encounter it. But I think it's a Sorting Order bug, where all the UI is in the same layer and you can click play while having the option menu open and it bugs. Thank you for the catch!! We will keep that note so we do not repeat this issue again.
As for the audio indication for attacks and the health bar for enemies, we ran out of time and could not implement it. It came out in the discussion we needed audio for attacks, being attacked, etc... when we were about to submit the project, but we did not have time. We will make sure to keep that also noted for future projects and improve from here and out!
Thank you very much for playing our game and giving feedback!!
