THE ANGLER FISH SCARED ME GREAT GAME!!!!1
Easily the scariest game of the jam goddam, was really enthralled. This absolutely builds tension but one thing I found myself getting frustrated with was having no way to really tell where the planets were, searching the whole map top to bottom feels nearly impossible with the lack of landmarks or navigation tools. wonderfully tense, fantastic entry.
Thank you! Maybe i should have made it a little more clear, but your mouse light is actually pointing towards the planets (or rather the fishes) , hence 'light is the way'!
Oh that helped immensely, thank you! was finally able to beat it.
Fun concept, the designs are all good! But Jesus Christ the Angler Fish man I thought I was just going to play a silly little fish game, was not expecting that. But it was pretty fun so I like it!
Thank you! I'm actually surprised the angler fish is so well received! I'm glad you enjoyed it
Fishes out of water and into the cold dark space, I like that idea! The star angler fish is definitely a highlight for me, very interesting concept! The wonky control is also another bit that I like, having to struggle controlling your fleshy aquatic body to evade the angler fish works well. But I think the combination of how fast Sir Ghostius move, having a dash, and the ambient light around Ghostius being too big killed the tension somewhat as I can see the angler fish from further away and have more than enough time to run away. Still, I think you all did a great job with the game overall!
i have never been more scared of an angler fish in space until now. good atmosphere, the angler hiding in the shadows worked well. it was hard to see the little fishies sometimes
