I liked the gameplay a lot, really fun! I did get stuck a few times and had to reset the levels. Wish you could have integrated the limitation, but still cool!

woah, a very interesting game! Nice job!

Really cool and fun game. It has MASSIVE as a speedrunning game. It's a pitty you didn't get to add the light.

Thank you!! I REALLY wanted to add a counter for the crystals as well as displaying the final time, was running out the clock though. def something to add if I go back to this!

Damn, that's fun. You got one of the best games of the jam for sure.

The parkour and drill mechanic were fun and interesting. I did find a weird tech you can do on some of the blocks were you can just climb up the side of a wall by drilling up! The upper level with the staircase formation does have some glitchy spots, but I got through it none the less.

One thing you could look into is maybe making the dirt and metal more distinct from each other (the palette is pretty low contrast). The borders and value change are good, but maybe some texturing in the dirt?  Or a clank when you hit a metal part? I had no issues with playing it however.

Neat game!

Thank you! If i go back to this I'll definitely be polishing up the art a bit, I'm sure there's a way to make them instantly distinct while using a limited palette (dithering on the dirt possibly?). Glad you had fun with it!

The concept for this game is really fun! The art and colors fit so well together!  Good work on the jam!

Developer

Thank you! had this concept kicking around for a while so it felt really good to finally get it out and concept proofed, wanted to give it a real earthy palette!

This is such a neat platformer. And the controls are super tight making it a blast to play. Only issue I ran into was getting stuck underground but you had a reset button to easily get out of situations like that. Good stuff!

Developer

I'm glad you liked it!! i'd love to revist this idea sometime and tighten up some of the collision quirks like that, make the drilling operate on a proper grid, etc. Thank you for playing!

Very cute style! I do fear I "square holed" a bit much  though, but hey I guess that's puzzle solving :P

Developer

Oh thank you! its not displayed super well in the sprite but I love her silly drill shaped witch hat. On square-holing, absolutely encouraged! the main mechanic is clipping through walls, it'd be a bit criminal if there wasn't a way to make your own shortcuts and such from the intended path

The movement here is good! There are a couple spots in the last level you can get stuck between tiles, but transitioning between the drill and the platforming movement is really smooth

Developer

Thank you! I was running into that a bit when designing the levels, I think it's to do with how I did the player characters collision and movement states? Once I'm a bit more familiar with the engine I'd really like to give it a second pass to tidy up some of those issues, thanks for checking it out!
