This game was really good! Nice concept, and game animations.  Good submission

I really enjoyed this game! I love the concept, and it's super satisfying to play and do well. The art is super cute, love how the kobold follows your cursor as well. I love that Kirby and the Forgotten Land minigame so seeing it as your inspiration made me happy too, except your game is even better!! Good job!

Simple idea and great execution. Loved the lil animations and soundeffects lol. Good job on it :p

Excellent execution of a simple game premise. The gimmick is innovative and the art is polished. This game is an excellent contender for the jam. Perhaps making the incise on the items kobolds ask for can reinforce the theme around dragons; but otherwise this game has everything.

Solid game.

Love the simplicity of it with the added twist of random image reveals and silhouettes. The different items were well designed to be quickly distinguishable. Very fun to play!

Controls were super responsive and it felt great to play. Everything was really well-polished! Love the graphics and music you chose.

I got 47 on my first run as I learned the game, 65 on my next. Guess my reaction speed isn't that great. I doubt I can get close to your high score haha. For this kind of game, an online leaderboard would be amazing to motivate me to keep playing again, since the game loop is on the simple side, and doesn't change much as you progress.

Just want to share: I learned about online leaderboards in the last jam I participated in, and it's not that difficult to implement in Godot actually !

Fantastic work!!

Thanks for playing and thanks for the learning resource! I've actually planned to implement online leaderboard from that start and discover loot locker, but realized that it need more than 6 hours before the deadline for me to learn and implement as i got caught up in unexpected things that I just learnt (shaders and audio stuff). Still I really appreciate the article you linked and for sure will implement online leaderboard on my next game! (I said the same thing on my previous game before this one XD)

Yeah I remember your last game from the GWJ! Your games are definitely great candidates for some leaderboards :)

The instructions are pretty good and it's actually pretty quick to implement without too much hassle.

I'll just share this just in case you have the same hurdle I did implementing it in Godot.
I had some trouble following the instructions cus they were not super clear on one part: "Enable Guest Login"

Here's a screenshot where to find it.
Took me a while of digging in message boards to find someone talking about this and provide the answer! -->

That was fun! My score was 104. And the art and music is nice.

Really well made, the sprites of the food not appearing fully at the beginning is a nice way to keep the player on their toes! Good stuff
