Dude i loved playing it, even though you said it wasn't done enough to be a game hahaha! The camera panning and controls felt really good.

I felt like i could jump-kill the switch-spiders, or activate something by jumping on their switches? but i wasn't too sure? It didnt seem to be working

Took me until the second playthrough to realize that there was a plank that sloped upwards at the back of the second room (the color blended in too well with the wall) but honestly i just had a ton of fun trying to jump on the spiders xDDDD

This is actually really neat. You should totally finish it I love the art/graphics

This reminds me of the Toy Story games I used to play on my PS2, really cool. The camera perspective change from room to room and the animations were really smooth. Would be cool to see this built out!

Thanks for playing! I'm sure  happy with how the cameras turned out since it was my first time playing around this in-depth with cinemachine.

Really nice visuals, animation and game feel! Like the other comment mentions is was very obvious how the enemies could be stomped on - I just intuitively knew it without having to think ;D

Thanks! I'm glad a good amount of people are able to deduct that super quickly. I think adding more control in the air and a few suggestions that were made about the shadows would be a great addition to making it feel a little better when stopping them.

Nice Game very interessting idea, remindet me on "it takes two"  cam could use some  movement like when you get to the ramps. The Little Shadow circle under your character could be added to the enemy so you better know when aligned.

Would be cool if you make this into a finished prototype, with all 6 cables  working. maybe some "energy drops" for the little battery guy ... yeah i liked it - short and cozy  sweet visuals with a nice reminder towards a great game. You did well!

The game looks really nice! Good job!

I am going to give you some feedback:

  • I would implement a third person follow camera, so you can see more clearly where the character is and how they are moving. If you like the static cameras you are using now, add more of them, specially on places like the big ramps at the end of the room or the panels in the ceiling
  • The mechanic where you stomp on the enemies was a bit buggy but good job on the model, I saw very clearly that you could stomp on them
  • The shader for the enemies is cool but i would disable it on the main character, it makes it a little harder to see if you are in a good position to stomp on them

Overall I liked it and keep up the good work!

The game is VERY cute. It's a shame you didn't get to finish it.

Thanks! Yeah I had a little bit of an oversight with school finals but I'm happy with the project and what I learned for it!

Really slick camerawork. I've tried to use Cinemachine in the past but I didn't get anywhere near this level of slickness. Decent  gameplay with creative use of limitation. Also looks super cute. Overall I love it!
