Really cool game! Visually fantastic and nice use of the theme. I also felt the limitation was a little.. limiting, if you will, but also made for some fun and hectic movement. Took a few tries but Sunny is Superb again! Nice job!

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked the movement, I wanted it to be as confusing as possible lol

I like the concept and the aspect is great.
But i the controls  are not  ideal, make it frustarnt because  all is done with a single hand and it be better if have the move in one and the actions in the other.
You could add a test with the letter of each actions, and if you add a animation  when  press x even when it has no effect(could made 2 animation//sprite where it loock to camara 1 negating the action and the o ther yelling) can make easy to adjust to the controls.
It's has much potential, but when you put a timer  responsivity and comodity of the controls are key(its  they are well made you don't note it but if aren't stand out in a bad way)

awesome game! love the mix of 2d and 3d art. I love that you leaned into the heat theme, but i felt like the restriction wasn't incorporated very well. Fun (and challenging) game nonetheless. I haven't seen too many puzzle games that also give you a score, i suppose it creates somewhat of a competitive aspect. great job overall!

Glad you liked it!

Press X! Controls are on the itch page, I wasn’t able to make a tutorial in time :(

Thanks for checking out my game though!

He's got a hat, don't be a baby! Pretty mindboggling controls at parts. I liked how moving the chair guy away in the last level was actually a trap! Nice work

Thanks! fun fact, by the time I finished development, I didn't think it was possible to collect every coin in the game. As it turns out, the chair in the last level isn't a trap (you can still get to the end when you go that way), but it DOES prevent you from beating the game with the maximum possible score 115. This was not intentional.

I only know this because I sent one of my friends the game to playtest and he managed to get every single coin after a while. My highest score remains 110, but 115 is achievable!

The visual style for this game is awesome! I love the unique perspective and the blend of 2d and 3d. I did notice there wasn't any sound in the game though, which ruined the atmosphere a bit :(. In the end, I got a final score of 30, which I'm assuming is like average (yipeee!).

The puzzle design was very interesting, as the games unique perspective leads to some creative thinking, which I thought was a cool mechanic. Also, in game some of the buttons didn't seem to work, but other than that the game is very well done. Nice job!

Developer

Thanks!! Yeah, I really really wish I had the time to work on audio, I agree it would've brought the whole thing together very nicely (was planning on having ui elements bounce to music and having sfx for moving, scaring, and getting in the water). And I'll be honest, I made the pause button but completely forgot to create a pause menu (def should've included a tutorial in there somewhere too). Either way, I'm glad you liked it and I'm very happy with what I got done in the time frame!
