Pretty fun game! My only gripe is that, at least on the web version of the game, the game is too zoomed in to see what the buttons say.

Love the music and art :) REALLY fun idea, and the interpretation of the theme is very unique and I think one of the best examples of creative uses for the limitation, with the most distinct double-actions from a single button. Kind of an interesting way to implement braking for turns.

I think it was sometimes hard to feel the immediate effect of turning since the inertia was so high for turning and it would take several seconds before the 8-directional sprite changed. Some way to indicate your arrow key is working immediately would be helpful for the player feedback. You also weren't kidding when you said "Impossible" difficulty! They smoked me in that race!!

Really good job! That was a lot of fun

The concept is very fun and I tried to greed (by ramping up my horse’s speed even if I was stuck on walls) but the course is well designed, so it’s not worth it. MUSIC IS AWESOME GG WP. I played in impossible mode and… welp let’s just say I never reached the second lap. I get why it’s called impossible.

Pretty cool game! I loved the map with its simple pixel art style and especially the music which absolutely fit the game! I think that the use of the limitation was interesting but it was kind of hard at first to control the horse.

this was so fun!! the vibes and the western atmosphere were really good!! a little bit hard to understand the controls first but then it was really rewarding not being so bad at it haha! the music and sound effects fitted so well too!

very proud of myself for eventually not coming 8th!!! took a while to get the hang of, but i must say the VIBES here are impeccable !! the art style and the soundtrack match so perfectly !! such a well made game (i would defo love it more if i wasn't so awful, but i believe i just have to "get good") well done !! <3

LOVE IT. You totally sold me on the itch page already with the idea of a race game where the challenge would come from going too fast, and the execution here did not disappoint. Great use of the limitation, great gameplay,  just wonky enough movement for my taste and an awesome western atmosphere. I haven't cleared impossible yet, but I'll certainly be doing more runs even if it's just to hear that fantastic soundtrack. 5 stars all around, excellent job!

Okay, I had a good 5 minutes laugh because of how stupid my horse is... Bwahahahahaha.... This is the reason's why you don't drink and drive a horse....

Fun racer :) shooting and breaking at the same time is a nice idea but i felt like i was bashing into walls a lot cause i didn’t want to shoot hahah. Maybe could have been the other way around where shooting speeds you up?

The way we came up with the idea was to just list all the actions that exist in racing games: so speeding up, braking, steering, using items. We ended up combining braking and using items (shooting), because we felt that that would be the most interesting. Maybe you're right though, shooting to speed up sounds fun as well. Thanks for the feedback!

cool art, very fun, took me a while to understand that shooting slowed you down but once I figured it out I had a lot of fun! music is good too but I wish there was a way to turn it down
