Really awesome game, great time waster. Congratulations on doing this much work on your own. I can easily see this being sold somewhere for 4/5 bucks honestly.

Maybe there should be some kind of malus for placing a "dead end" tile, or a bonus for keeping everything tidy (like in dorfromantik for example)

Thanks for playing! I'm certainly thinking about trying to push this towards being a full release given the positive response :)

I was definitely thinking about putting in some consequence for dead ends, but was a bit worried it would end up feeling punishing (especially as you're trying to pick up the mechanics at the start), and so I never got around to it. Certainly something to think about if I do come back to the game though. Great to hear that you enjoyed the game!

Great game, though I'm not the best at these games and stuck to the easy path.

The game just overall feels fun to play and strategize for, leading me to spend longer than I had anticipated playing the game. 6 cookies out of 6.5

Very interesting game)

I was a bit confused at first but after you understand its a really fun game! I spent around an hour playing it and will definitely play it again if there will be any update. Really impresive for a game made in a weekend

Thanks for checking it out! You're right that it definitely takes a little bit of time to understand at the start, but it's great to hear that you enjoyed it anyway. The response has been pretty positive, so I'm definitely thinking about working on an update; I had lots of ideas for the game that were beyond the scope of the jam :)

This is fantastic, the Balatro inspiration is really clear (you might notice a bit of it in my entry too) and you've really nailed the satisfaction of watching the numbers go up! It would be great to have more options for tailoring your deck (ideally some way to remove cards) but the amount you've managed to implement in a weekend is really impressive! The interaction could stand to be tightened up in places, the big one is that it seems like you need to click a card to pick it up and click again to drop it whereas it would feel more natural to pick it up on mouse press and drop on mouse release. Overall though those are fairly minor, great job!

Thanks for playing! You're absolutely right that it would be better with more options for tailoring the deck: putting more options in the shop to improve/remove cards was the next thing on my list, but I'd completely run out of energy after making the rest of the game! And thanks for the feedback on the interaction -- that's certainly one to improve on.
