Hello! I had a lot of fun playing your game! I liked how I could have so many different play styles and yet still feel like all of them were balanced in a good way. The first time I beat it I was maxing out my speed and nothing could catch me lol, and I just wandered for the chests. There was a bug I noticed with the porcupine sometimes when I go north, it would be doing the south walking animation. Also, in my system, it hangs a bunch of times: on the first load of the game, and the first time I hit an enemy. Overall I still had a lot of fun with your game! Thank you for your hard work, and I hope you had loads of fun making this!

thanks for the feedback! Pretty sure the performance issues might be an issue with godot 4.3. I’ll look into the bug with the porcupine.

I really enjoyed playing this! The upgrade system was scaled nicely as well. Great job, and congrats on eating ~50 cookies!

Developer

I was pretty hungry

Great twist being able to shapeshift 🐺

Really enjoyed that game so much I had to have a few goes at it as wanted to get all the Relics.

Only feedback would be for maybe auto shooting for the hedgehog or hold and shoot. But that was only a minor thing 🦔

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I may add hold and shoot in the future.

Overall it's a good rogue like game! I like the shapeshift mechanics

I had a really fun time with this! I liked playing as the snake, especially. Trying to get to the top of the scoreboard, muahahaha!!!

An original V.Survivors-like with its shapeshifter system, good job !

Developer

After reading all the comments I've decided to remove the invisible borders. Thank you to everyone who has given feedback!

Fun! I cannot see the attack fired by the snake though. Firefox on Windows.

Developer

Not sure what the issue is there. probably has something to do with particle effects because that's what I used for the snake attack. Thanks for playing!

The borders of the map were a tiny bit saddening to me but still very impressive. I think making more enemies would be really cool, perhaps an enemy that shoots at you or dashes at you or even buffs up nearby enemies with speed.

Very nice game.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I wanted to add more enemies and find a way to remove the borders but sadly got sick and ran out of time for both of them. I may continue development if people like the game though.

I love it but make the chests more common and the ability to kill zombies is really hard aka it feels like a running sim but it is still awesome

Developer(+1)

Thanks for pointing that out about the chests. I forgot how math worked after I expanded the size of the game and doubled instead of quadrupling chest spawns. Using the wolf shapeshift can definitely take some getting used to but if you press Q you can try the porcupine or snake!

Thx for being a great dev

Very fun game, like the background music.  my only complaint is the random borders that stop you.

Developer

I see what you’re saying but without the borders it is easy to get lost and not be able to find any chests. It could definitely be better without the borders though. Thanks for the feedback!

This game was awesome, really enjoyed it. The worm is way OP though and if there was a way to continue when you beat the game that would be cool as I kept trying to increase my characters power but ended up winning too fast. Also the relics do not reset to 0 when you start again. PS a tip I learnt about making font look clearer is to decrease the size to 0.05 then increase font size, make it look so crisp.

Developer(+1)

That's a great idea. I will add a way to continue after finding the relics.

Fun and cool game! Really liked the wolf gameplay, dashing through enemies felt really good.

The game appears to have some visual jitter, if you're using godot 4.3 you can easily fix this by going to project settings ->general->Physics->Common and turning on Physics Interpolation. According to the documentation you should then set Physics jitter fix to 0 (in the same menu).

Developer(+1)

OMG Thank you! I was wondering how to fix that.

Actually very fun to play. The thing I enjoyed most about this game is the combat. My feedback is I think you should double down on that mechanic. During the game I just ignored the main objective and started to try and kill as many enemies as possible. Very fun combat gameplay.

Developer

I kind of ran out of time at the end and just wanted to add a way to win very quickly but I'd agree that the combat is the best feature.
