Hey, I couldn't jump. I don't know what the problem is, the character just moves to the right by itself and gets stuck in front of the first box.

Developer(+1)

There's a bit of a problem with the keys that I can't figure out. You might be able to experiment with some other keys for jumping. Thanks for the feedback!

I like graphics and sounds. This is really fast paced platformer and I'm way too slow for this :

There are some pits with spikes that I can't get out when I fall there. That's pretty annoying.

Thanks Serpent7776. I pride myself on how evil I am when it comes to difficulty!

Awesome game EnzoGray! Pico-8 is one of my favorite engines and I like how you used it. Took me a while to figure that movement was locked  instead of having some gum in my keyboard! Keeping the controls to only the jumping really simplified and made the game quite fun. I'd be interested to hear how you made the windows wrapper for the game.

Developer

Thank you very much! For the windows build you can use the export command with .bin. There's some good documentation here: https://pico-8.fandom.com/wiki/Export.

Really nice game :D The colors scheme looks so good and I liked how  you used the limitation :) took me some time to understand how to play but when I did I really liked it! it was hard to finish the levels and still very enjoyable to play. Well done!

Thank you so much!

I like the art style, and enjoyed the game. However, someplace you get stuck and just wait for you death lol. So frustrating.

nicely done

This game frustrated me in a weirdly good way. I kept wanting to go back and try to get farther than I did last time. I found the art style great, being a fan of pixel art myelf. A bit more contrast on some levels would've been nice, especially since you have to focus so hard on the screen, but it didn't hinder my experience. Some music would've gone well with the fast paced gamelplay, but in general the audio was great. The sound effects give a lot of feedback, and picking up coins feels good.

Overall, it was a good use of the limitation and a pretty fun game!

Thanks so much for the feedback!

I'm stuck on the purple level, how do you make the X's disappear?

Developer

You'd think I'd know the keys to my own game!

lol Thanks

That didn't work on my system, and jump was remapped to Z, C, N, and Insert.

Developer

That is so weird! I don't know why it does that! Thank you for the feedback though, Admiral!

I really like the sound and graphics of this game, great use of minimalism. I'd like if there was more of an impact based on the choices you took like maybe making the level more challenging. Then again the reflexes required for this game already was a bit challenging for me! Great job, your polish really shows in this project!

Developer

Thank you!
