Gameplay is fun, would appreciate a difficulty curve, perhaps more enemies or the player gets faster over time?

Developer

Thanks for playing! That actually does happen: the game speeds up over time and the enemies shoot more often. Maybe a bit too slow, idk :P

Cool idea,! Great game despite some lag issues. Congrats!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I thought I had fixed the lag issues. It should be working fine in the browser, but if not, the build should work better :)

Lovely art! From the visual aspect, I think the only thing I miss is a type of HUD for the player or just a "aim" to show direction and calculate if I'll hit/miss.

The SFX are nice as well. I liked the feedback of hitting a donut and missing it, this made me understand if I was doing good or not.

I'd make the controls a bit more fluid, I don't know if it's the camera, but it takes a while (friction, maybe?) to start moving into a direction.

Good job delivering it!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I did think of having some sort of display showing the centre of the screen but I never got to doing it. The controls are literally add force and rigid body drag, meaning that it takes some time to start and some time to get going :P

I overall enjoy the concept but I do feel like its a tad easy. Overall I agree with one of the reviews below stating that the projectiles should be bigger. Or maybe even some that can explode near you.

Developer

Thanks for playing. Hmm, that's some cool ideas. Thanks

Nice Game. I enjoyed playing it.

But  in my opinion the controlls would feel much nicer if the player would stop instantly if you release a button. But maybe thats just me. Maybe you wanted it to be exactly this way.

Developer

Yeah that's a good suggestion. I had done it very very quickly and I never really got back to changing anything. It definitely would feel nicer to have the controls snappier :P

So.. the game idea is pretty sick, tho cause of lagging it decrease the enjoyment a lot. Maybe its just on my pc lmao. The concept is a Little boring but I dont think i did a better job here :(. Ist really easy not to die, cause the projectiles are really small, and you cant die by hitting the donut, would be better if the projectile were bigger and you really need to go through the donut and not just like in the donut.

dont really know what to say more cant listen to sounds right now so dont know how it sounds.

Maybe you wanna check out mine too? :D well dont need to, would just be happy about it.

Developer

Cool stuffs, thanks for playing :)

I did think the Web version might be a bit laggier, probably just because of the post processing which I should remove for the Web build.

The thing with the projectiles is that more and more of the UFO thingies spawning over time.  And yes, the concept is not new whatsoever :P And I will definitely check your game out :D

Submitted(+1)

Oh okey if more ufos spawn over time its good, just stopped playing in the early state cause of lagging :D Tho maybe it causes for more lags when there are more ufos in the web version XD

I've just updated the game, fixing the low frame rate. The problem was with the cloud particles: I had acctidentally smoothed the model. Would be great if you try again :P

Yeah! Now its working completely fine! Well done ;D Maybe what could make the game a little more interesting is implement that the ships can like shoot up and down and not only straight. But it's just my opinion, so feel free to do it or not :D

The web version worked really poorly but the downloadable one worked fine. I like the first person view and UI effects

Developer

Thanks for playing. Yeah, I might need to remove post processing for the web version :P Thanks for the feedback though.
