Nice concept man! I also liked the art style. However, the enemy shoots is too quickly and your move speed is too low. This makes the game really difficult to play. But in general, a really good submission!

your art is awesome! tho the game a bit difficult

I just love the Art! its just so cute!

The game concept is really nice, tho for my too hard, I only passed wave 1 and died at 4 attempts for second XD.

The music gives a nice vibe to it !

Really nice how you implemented the themes in the game!

Again can't really say much more about it amazing game!

feel free to check out mine aswell :)

Hey! This game had the same inspiration as ours :D  It looks really cool and I really enjoyed how the SFX of the enemy bullets matched the beat of the funky music! Great job

This was a really cool game and had some interesting mechanics! I really liked playing it! The only downside was that it was very difficult (the ship's collider was barely smaller than some of the gaps in the first level) at least in my experience. However, the music, controls, design and UI all looked great! Nice job!

pros:

  • love the artwork
  • good music and fitting sounds
  • i think the difficulty is okay. I am not familiar with these types of game, so experienced player will probably go through the first levels without any problems.

suggestions

  • there is a bug, that sometimes the donut goes right through the enemy
Developer(+1)

Wow Thank you so much for you`re feedback im glad you liked it.

And its not a bug its a feature.

Jokes aside. Since a donut has a hole in it the enemys can fly through this hole and dont get hit. Thats a mechanic i came up with when i was brainstorming. I tried to make a tutorial to explain this but unfortunatly i ran out of time so i couldnt finish it. Its stated in the Description however.

Oh wow, I am so sorry, yeah that makes total sense and is actually a very cool idea!

Yeah i feel like having so little time is really hard for developing and creating art, but on the other hand it forces you to do something right now and not in "the near future", thus it is a great motivator.

Overall good game! Was a tiny bit too hard for me, but that's just me being bad at games.

Developer

Thants good to know. My friends who tested it for me said the same but i thougth if it was easier it wouldnt be that much fun.

Maybe next time i should listen to my buddys XD

But anyway thank you for playing.

The ship looks great

Developer

Thanks buddy.

I put a lot of time into the Sprites. Maybe a little too much since it took up a lot of the 72 Hours.

You nailed the theme, and this was a lot of fun to play.
