This game makes me feel uneasy.

I guess that's a good thing.. ?

I liked the style,  atmosphere, and mix of poetry, will be cool to see it once you update :)

Excellent concept - I like the light/colour following the player and the hues being left where the player has been, I thought that was a really nifty idea!

It seemed hit or miss when I jumped into enemies whether it would kill them or me, so I mainly just hugged the walls and hoped the placement of the coloured squares would be nice to me!

I also liked the story/poetry elements after each level, that was fairly calming.

Overall, I enjoyed playing it! I think a few more levels of this kind would be quite good :)

Thanks a lot for the feedback! It seems that a lot of people are pretty confused about the controls lol I've decided to update the game in about a week and a half, with some more levels since I'll be free by then. For now it's more or less a prototype. Would appreciate your feedback again if you'd like to play the future more developed version. :D

(Spoiler Alert)   - When the poem says "Aim at your foes and shoot your goal..." It literally means to left-click to shoot. The hit or miss thing is actually an extra life you have, as stated in "An extra leap an extra life..."

Very cool concept. I like the way you combined the poetry with the mood of the game, they work well together. The cool light/hue effect on the title screen is really nice too. I would have liked to have seen the 'space bar to light the room' feature a little earlier as it was more tricky at first as I was trying to figure out how to play. I like the idea of spawning a key when you collect enough colour squares, I didnt get this at first, I thought the progress bar was my life so kept jumping into enemies as I thought I'd survive. Sometimes the enemies spawn on top of the player giving no warning which is frustration perhaps add a sound or short visual effect right before they spawn. Also when the key is spawned you could spawn a door or exit point the player must reach.

Overall I enjoyed the game. Well done.

Thanks so much for the feedback! Much appreciated. I can see how the controls are confusing. The spacebar and collecting squares mechanics to reach the goal are actually stated in the poem(figuratively). When I do decide to continue the game, I'll definitely make more parts where you can use the space already, maybe add an sfx or warning for the spawning, make the use of the bar clearer and more.
