Fun, challenging and short :3 Well done!

Hey there. I made a video about the Mini jam and included your game in it. I enjoyed playing it. It is an excellent and polished game. The only thing that troubled me is that I had to press the UI button to restart the game. I want to use more keyboard buttons because it would be more comfortable to play with two hands on a keyboard. If you want me to cut your game out of the video, let me know. However, I still hope you like it. I make such videos every day. I will be pleased if you subscribe. Anyway, I enjoyed playing your game. The video is below.

I think the Buttons positions  gets messed up when you change color

but overall its a good game . i like how you can mix colors too. The font is so cute though. Also  i loved the art style

I like the concept, but I found it hard to understand what was needed. I didn't have time to read the instructions for the second level before I died (maybe I had momentum?) and then how to change the colour wasn't clear. Could I only select the letters I could see? Did I need to hit them several times? Experimenting resulted in dying, and that's lessened the enjoyment.

All that said, if the controls were more clear, I'd love playing a version of this on my phone. I liked the way the levels changed and grew, and I loved the concept.

Hello Enjaku!
That you so much for your comment. We are glad to see that you liked the concept! We will work on fine tuning controls and making them clearer through a detailed tutorial!

Interesting concept, I quite like it!

I found it quite easy to select each of the base colours - though took me a few tries to realise I couldn't recolour from blue to yellow without pressing W first. Mixing colours made it a lot more difficult, and I was struggling to get the colours right without dying lots first.

I like the pieces that made each level more challenging - the bars that stop you from progressing if you're a certain colour, the disappearing platforms, and the black hole that chases you a few levels in.

I think one thing that might benefit is having a button for Retrying a level after you die - it was a bit of hassle to click my mouse each time after I got my hand in a comfortable position to press J, K and L.

Overall, I enjoyed playing it! Very nice game!

Great concept. At first it was hard to get the correct colour. But you get used to the J,K,L keys quickly. One thing I noticed is if I choose the wrong colour and try to re-choose in mid jump the colour shceme has already changed meaning there is no room for second chances, this meant dying a lot, having to click the mouse each time you die is anoying, it would be better to have a button like space bar to retry. What was that thing chasing you on later levels? It never caught up to me (I assume I'm supposed to out run it?).

The difficulty increases at a nice rate with disappearing platforms, nice simple game.

Hello Xanderwood!
Thanks a lot for your comment! We are glad that you liked our game! As a matter of fact, we do give you second chances mid air! You can press space to clear any color off of you mid air! We will try making that clearer through a better tutorial! Thanks a lot for your feedback!

Really interesting mechanics, but it was hard for me to get used to the controls of the game.  Maybe throw in a few easier levels before the hard ones, like using only 1 color before mixing all 3. I like the idea of mixing colors to lead the player towards the goal but it's a bit hard to do it while a monster's trying to get to you. Despite the difficulty, I really feel like this could be a very addictive game with a few adjustments. It's simple yet challenging and stimulating. The style is nice as well. Good job overall!

Hello Glas! Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment! We are glad that you liked the game! We added two new levels (3 and 4) that don't have the black hole and just lets players play around with controls and perfect their color jumps. We also slowed down the expansion of the black hole to make initial levels a bit easier! What did you mean when you said a few adjustments? Do you think the current levels are too short? Do you think we need to explain the players a bit more about the mixing colors mechanic?

Thanks for applying my feedback dude! This time, it was easier to get used to the controls and the speed of the hole is a lot less stressful. I think one of the reasons the game is a bit hard is because the words/instructions displayed don't really bring much attention. At times, I don't realize that it's there. An easy fix would be to just make a short countdown with the words displayed until the game starts. The player would notice it a lot more and also, when you finish a level while jumping, you won't instantly jump off dying at the start of the next one(that happened several times to me). Another adjustment you could make is to make a few more tutorial levels, or one level with all the instructions. For the mixing mechanic, make the words simple like "Yellow + Purple = Orange" and then the player has to keep switching from yellow to purple to orange platforms. Also, in my 1st time playing I only noticed that I turn white again when I jump in around lvl 3 (I was 2nd-guessing a lot). It might just be me but I think that it's worth mentioning in the instructions. The current levels are just enough in length, just very few of them. I don't mean to pressure you though. It is quite stressful when you have a limited time to apply these adjustments. Good luck! :)

Here I thought it was a relaxing game. It get stressful very quickly lol.

I thought the idea was interesting to mix colors but a bit overwhelming to use. The controls are not very intuitive so I found myself second guessing the buttons to press for each color constently

Hello! Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment. We are glad that you thought our idea was interesting! To make players a bit more comfortable with using the controls, we added two levels new levels with no black hole, where players can fiddle around with changing colors, perfect their color jumps!
