Loved that 2.5d style. The art is very beautiful, and the concept is funny. I'd certainly love to play it if you manage to finish it some day.
Damn, now I really wished you guys managed to complete it...
The art is gorgeous and the idea of a dog running a human shelter is awesome !
When I grow up, I wanna be like Dr. Dog from the University of Barkley !
The art is lovely! The concept is very good too, such a shame it's not complete yet. Would love to play this when/if finished.
love the style, sad that this doesn't have gameplay but I would love to see future updates
Fantastic presentation, you nailed the character sprite! Was sad when I realized there was no game play yet. But game jams do be like that sometimes
Thanks! I'm actually pretty proud of Dr. Dog's sprite, since I feel it's my strongest walk cycle so far. I'm still working on hard on figuring out how to balance my time so that I get more core gameplay instead of spending so much time on polish, as I'm primarily a (non-game) programmer and hobby artist. If you have any tips on that I'd love to hear them!
Nice artwork and world concept, shame there is nothing really to do yet, keep working on it tho!
I really enjoyed this! I can definitely see this as a start of a bigger project!
Cool game! A few issues - you can walk out the window and it doesn't stop you just walking into the emptiness outside. Another thing is that the dog can move forward/background but the sprite only shows it moving right/left.
hah, great catch on the window bug! That's funny, I have a collider on the frame but the window itself is open, and I didn't think about that when I added the beds you can step on. As for the animation, that's more of an artifact of not wanting to spend more time animating more walk cycles so I only did those two directions for now and thought it looked 'ok enough' if a little weird when going forward and backward. Thanks for playing!
