I didn't quite understand how to win this game, but I enjoyed playing it, and I loved the watercolor concept you used for the art, I can only say that it looks beautiful. Good job. Istreamed it on my twitch, in case you want to watch it.
I love the art style. The atmosphere is really nice although I wish there were more sound effects.
Unfortunately I got stuck and have no idea what to do. Also moving between screens seems glitchy (maybe that's the reason I got stuck?). Otherwise I'd love to keep playing ;)
I'll look into it. Thanks for playing!
A Great game ! Love the watercolor art, and the minimalist and subtle environment! Good music! Although I could not crack the puzzle, but figuring it out and completing it, is the one thing that is still lingering in my mind!
I'll try to make the puzzles a little bit more intuitive. That is pretty needed ig. Thanks for playing!
Beautifully made game. Music is also great. Great job!
Beautiful art style and very fitting music. You don't see a ton of minimalist style jam games - great work.
Nice style I really like the watercolor sprites, and the way you colored the background grey and only colored the ant. :)
You know what? I really like this game. I really do!
It's got that old school artistic game style - very little text, and vague hints to progress. Some pre-internet style game that would force you to try and try again trying to understand the game and progress. You aren't told if your actions are solving the puzzles, you have to understand it yourself.
And the graphical style? Absolutely gorgeous. Everything looks like it was softly painted with a brush. Ants look lively and colorful... and gives a good contrast to the bodies of the dead ants looking grey and very, very sad.
As much as I was stuck on that puzzle, I just couldn't resist trying to come back and try to crack the mysterious solution hiding behind it - and was I glad I kept trying until I did!
In all honesty it's a great concept. The "death as a mechanic" limitation is implemented not only in the game, but in its feeling. Ants are ready to do anything to get their Queen back, and dying for the others is just normal to them.
It even made me feel a little lonely, how these little ants are all so ready to give themselves up for the others.
I love artistic games with their unique approach, and this one is so very unique! I love it!
Thank you so much! This means a lot to me.
Oh and if you are curious I used watercolor brushes in krita to make all the art. I like to do watercolor irl so I thought why not use it in a game.
Nice game! I agree with everyone else, the aesthetic of this game is amazing! I got stuck on the glue bit, but I found the answer through discord. Good job! I'd really like to see more games with this look to them!
Thanks for playing! I experimented with this style and I kinda love it too.
After reading the title for the first time, I just had to play it. Love the art, the music, the style in general. Got stuck for a little bit near the nail gun, didn't know what to do with it and the next screens. Also walking up seems glitchy sometimes. Apart from that a really cool game.
I'll incorporate all those and update it soon. Thanks for playing!
Nice Game!
Thanks! I played your game too.
Art style is very nice and I love the idea behind it good job :)
Thanks for playing!
I love the art and the music!
I tried using a hint but it didn't seem to work
"Hints are not in every level" -- because some levels are pretty obvious.
Thanks for playing!
However, if you specify the problem you faced on a particular level, I'll definitely look into it.
