Nice game, I really liked the idea with gravity revolving around the player, clever! Just one thing - sometimes when moving on platforms the player randomly sticks to the floor or rotates rapidly making the player uncontrollable.

Nice Idea!

A little nitpick though, I think you should've used a kinematic body for the player, instead of a dynamic one.

It is a little frustrating when the player goes berserk and dies when it touches a corner (it was chaotic though).

Still, good game.

Developer

Thank you for your input! I have no idea what the difference between kinematic and dynamic, so I will have to do some research for next time.

Now that I think about it, although I said that you should use a kinematic body, it requires a lot of programming work to make it good.

For a GameJam or for a proof of concept, where you don't want to waste a lot of time, it's recommendable to use dynamic body instead.

Sorry for my bad advise.

Cool Game. :-)

Why thank you!

Actually a really cool idea! Some notes from my playthrough:
* I didn't realize the level select screen was a level select screen

* I accidentally jumped to the last level, where it said to press space to continue, but that didn't do anything so I had to restart the game

* I was really struggling with the game until I realized how important slowing down time is if you want to rotate the screen.

* The camera following the player's rotation caused a lot of motion sickness. I think orienting it to the 8 / P rotation would work a bit better.

Developer

Thank you for your input! I will try to fix these problems in the next one.

Really good and cool theme, but it is much too hard i guess ;)

Developer(+1)

Yeah I used the Chaos theme as an excuse for harder levels and to not fix bugs, glad to hear you liked it

Its a good concept, and the controls do cause alot of chaos, its actually a great first game jam game, there are a few game design choices that removes a bit of fun, for example the level select just confuses the player, instead of that you could just have a normal level progression, since i chose level 9 on my first playthrough cause i didn't know it was a level select lol, good job on your first game jam tho!

Developer

I totally see what you mean with the level select, thank you for the feedback
