That's the game! Thank you so much, I'm amazed someone actually found it.

I was curious what the counter was at. It was around 40 the last time I saw and now it's at 200 haha.

It was at least playable in browser. Not sure about other platforms

Hey! This is a bit of a stretch but I was hoping someone out there could help me find a game that I played on here maybe a few months ago. If this isn't the correct place to post this please let me know a better location!

The game was secretly? multiplayer -- you walk around and pick up rocks? to bring back to a big bonfire with a counter on it.
The counter showed how many rocks the players have picked up.
You could see other players in real-time.
It had 8 bit pixel graphics, mostly black and white.
The setting was snowy and your character could freeze if you didn't stand near fire.

I couldn't help but cheese the last encounter by standing up here lol

Cool game! The movement was great with the double jumps, wall jumps, and dashing. Probably would have enjoyed it even more if I had someone to play with.

Rescuing characters and using them as lives is a neat idea. Some notes from my playthrough:

  • I wish I didn't have to pick up every item in my way. There were times I wanted to keep using my AK for example but then was forced to pick up a pistol. I tried jumping over them but I was still picking up the weapons on the ground.
  • The larger enemies might have too much health, or I was just using weak weapons. It would take a very long time to kill them.
  • Sometimes the enemies will spawn right on top of you which is rough

Overall cool project and good job on finishing it!

Had a lot of fun with this one, got to floor 40 before I realized it was going to be endless and felt I had pretty much seen everything by that point so I stopped there.

The cover art is great too!

Setting up 2-3 turrets seems to be enough to basically win the game lol, but it was fun saving up  enough money to buy them by hanging around the girl and shooting any zombies that get past her. The gun shot sounds are great too.

The description mentions going out to find and destroy zombie nests but I wasn't able to find anything like that, maybe I'm blind

Unfortunately I can't play this game as I'm on Mac so I'll look forward to watching the game jam hosts playing it on their stream! It was cool seeing it all come together on the streams so thank you for sharing those.

Pretty fun and the flying enemy is neat. Maybe I just suck but I had a lot of trouble jumping onto the ferris wheel for the machine gun.

Also I got stuck between some tires and a box and wasn't able to jump out. Here's a screenshot of the spot.

This is really fun for your first game! It's a bit of a bummer when the units land on top of the other unit's heads but other than that I like it a lot

This is actually a pretty cool and fun idea! It's like one of those typing games but with gestures instead

Any chance for a Mac or browser build? :(

The voice acting is really good! I think I ran into a bug though:

after shooting my head through the gap am I just stuck? how do I get it back?

Putting the character in the car is a fun idea lol, pretty cool!

Thanks for playing!

Really great idea for a game, and the design of the cards is amazing! It was fun learning which cards worked best against others, and choosing strategic targets to buff.

Really smart to put an overview image so you can see where things are. The puzzles got pretty tough too but it was a lot of fun!

Short and sweet! Clean visual style. Scroll wheel is a bit annoying to use but I guess it got the job done. Interesting level design too at the end there. Hope you had fun playing around with Godot!

Surprising amount of depth given the limited time frame! I love the penguin sprite too.

Fun idea and great execution!

Wow, favorite game of the jam for me by far. Absolutely love the game design and aesthetics of this one. Would love to see where something like this could go with more than 50 hours!

Cute game. I found myself just spamming 1, 2 and clicks in the general direction of the enemy though and running around. Would have liked to see some more interactive mechanics.

Cool visual effects, calming music. My luck  was kinda bad though so RIP earth's population.

Neat "playing inside a monitor / screen" effect and clean UI. Having to use space to rotate instead of just aiming with the mouse seems like an interesting choice though.

Cool idea to have customizable sides on the dice, and elemental damage was pretty interesting too. The sound design is terrifying btw.

Cool idea, but would have liked to see some more decision making opportunities. Right now, you can pretty much just mindlessly run around picking things up and then walk into enemies.

Amazing game! Loved the aesthetics and chill music.

This game was so fun! I played through every level.

Oh no that sucks to hear! I installed the Opera GX browser to try it out myself but it seems to work for me. Have you tried any other browsers?

Simple but fun mechanic! I can't tell if the game was balanced in a way that my random rolls were all able to complete the levels, but if so that's pretty cool.

As a fellow Slice N Dice creator (yare yare daze), good job! Cool to see an online leaderboard too.

Clean visuals, the newton's cradle looks great. The game kind of boiled down to "go down if 1/2, go up if 4/5" though, so it would be interesting to explore some ideas that change things up.

Great work on the visuals, and interesting mechanic, although the difficulty and progression are a little barebones. Would love to see this idea be expanded upon!

Makes math pretty fun! Very relaxing music too, good job

Love the art style. Was not expecting to hear megalovania in any of these jams lol

Extremely well polished and juicy animations. I kind of wish the upgrades were more "additive" instead of "selective" if that makes sense, since at a certain point gold kind of becomes pointless. Overall loved it though!

Thanks for playing! I checked out your game as well :)

Funny take on the theme and really satisfying mechanic! Reminds me a bit of Katamari.

Level three kinda destroyed me, rip RNG
