Very solid platformer. I liked the low-res minimalist artstyle and the controls felt very good. Ther was one level where I died at the end a couple of times because I kept bonking against the ceiling, which was a little fustrating, but otherwise, level design was also very solid.
Thank you! Yes, I know which one. There is some leeway so you can jump a short time after touching the ground, but that shouldn't be necessary.
I will probably optimize the maps after the jam is over.
Yup, I actually noticed that when I finally beat the room, very appreciated! I think a reason it took me so long is that a lot of jam platformers are very tight in that regard, so I liked to see that you put some care into making this more lenient. It's also just a minor nitpick, apart from that one spot, I found the levels to feel pretty good and fair. Post-jam update sounds nice, though :)
This was a great, short platformer with really snappy controls. While the jumping took a bit to get used to, I really liked the umbrella physics and problem solving levels with the fans and platforms. Overall sleek game with a really neat art style.
Great game! Everything was very polished and the mechanics were very well implemented! Only thing I would suggest is changing the music a bit to make it less repetitive.
Cool mechanic and very good level design. Every mechanic is introduced smoothly. I also love the fact that the pixel snap perfectly. ;)
Cool mechanics with the umbrella and I like the idea of the fans blowing the player up ^^ Some more events in the levels (for example lava fountains coming up every few seconds) would have been awesome. But for the time we had, the existing features are already great. Good job!
Jumping over lava or flying with an umbrella. It's hard work being an engineer.
