Nice small platformer, I wish different characters had also different mechanics, that would be cool

Beautiful graphics and appropriate sound. I think the character is moving too fast. It's hard to hit the target when the character is twitching like that. Overall, the game is good. Thanks for the game!

Nice game!

On the first load the cats didn't show up, so I was stuck, but reloading the page fixed this

Very cute game! The controls were good and it felt nice to go through the level.

Great work!!

Fun little platformer! I liked the choice of characters :)

The controls felt very precise and snappy, maybe even too precise at times. It's very easy to overshoot a target.

Nice work, keep at it !

Cat Tower is a very beautifully aethetically pleasing game that I think deserves a lot more recognition. The artwork is just beautiful to look at and really makes you forget that the limitation was 8x8. The bright background is a perfect color to mix with these platforms. Something that really shines in this game is the overall presentation and the concept. Precise platforming experience with very well thought out and creative platforms. It's also amazing that the Developer used a Cat Tower toy as inspiration for the platforms. This was just an overall really well thought out concept and I found myself enjoying every second of it. I would say the only con is that the game is too short. I feel the music isn't annoying at all.

Great work! :D

Nice game with great sprites and challenging gameplay. Good job!

Well done ! There is a good color pallet and the gameplay reminds me Getting Over It too !

I loved the art, thought it was really cute! Was extremely difficult but eventually I managed to get to the top with the flag!  The controls kinda felt like super speed idk if you meant to do that, the gameplay reminds me of Getting Over It or Jump King, pretty nice.

also woops didn't confirm my rating the first time but there lol

Developer

Thanks for your feedback.

The game is supposed to be a bit faster than the average platformer, but not extremely fast. Because I have a 60Hz display, I'm not entirely sure if the frame time works as intended for faster displays. I updated the Windows and HTML version. It would be super nice if you could tell me if the speed changed for those on your machine.

Just beat it again, I'm on a 144Hz display and I'm playing the Web version and it is still VERY fast. I'm zooming!

I think I fixed the issue now. Turns out some browsers ignore the frame cap. New version with no frame cap, no vsync and variable frame time should work for all refresh rates even for the HTML version. I hope...

yeah no more super speed it works
