I was in fact trolled. Really enjoyed the graphics and sounds a lot though - never saw the dice, but this game definitely hit the theme of dread

Also, found you could just look around in a lot of the media files, and I thought that one of the zipped file you left behind had a pretty funny name

Thanks for the comment, Orange Taste Games. I don't exactly know which file you're talking about but regarding the dice, it was implemented at the end which, with the difficulty of the maze itself is hard to get to.

I just meant the file saying "New S***", that was just funny to see. And yeah I imagined the dice were later on, just didn't find the way to them.

Getting stuck in the maze with the feeling of not getting out is really dreadful. The part where the mouse gets uncontrollable when you get caught is also a nice touch. Good job making the game! Keep it up.

Glad i'm not the only one having problems playing my own game xd. In all seriousness, Thanks for the review!

We do a little bit of trolling.

But in all seriousness I love the atmosphere of the game it feels like an old cursed video game. My only real complaints are that the flashlight felt a little bit unnecessary since the rooms were lit up just fine for me and there was no real advantage or disadvantage to having it on. What I would recommend if you ever plan on doing something similar in the future or continuing this project is making it so that say for example the rooms are darker and you need it on to see but the trollface will be able to see you and get to you if you have it on for example.  That way the flashlight becomes an integral part of the game.

But otherwise I enjoyed it I was thoroughly creeped out when the static noises played and really liked the 3d models with pixel art on them.

Thanks for the review, Blank_Slate119! The flashlight was kind of implemented as a last second feature, but now that you mention it it is a great idea. We'll make sure to implement it in a later update, as i think the dread would go up from a 10 to a 100 quite fast xD
