I love the central mechanic of this! It's really tense and fun. I personally preferred easy mode. I wish there was more levels!
This is a great game! The easy mode was fun, but the hard mode is what attracts the most. The direction toss is a great mechanic! The art is very nice, simple but polished, which is very important. Overall, pretty impressive :)
Thank you for your kind feedback! Glad that you liked it.
Really cool and cohesive, well put together. It can feel a bit random (though I guess you "control" when the dice starts and stops? But it's difficult), but I love the idea.
The die really is random for now but I agree that it can be more fun when you have some control over its outcome. Thank you for playing tho!
Super fun! Really unique concept and I love the use of the dice with the mechanic. Great job!
Thank you! Glad that you enjoyed it!
This was great - love the one bit pixel art and the soundtrack, and thought it was a great use of the limitation. The easy and hard modes were great, although I'm nowhere near good enough to beat hard mode I thought that rolling to see the direction in which you can move was a great idea and would love to see it explored further!
It's not that you're not good enough it's just that the hard mode is pure luck-based so it's too hard. Maybe I'll need to add some dice mechanic so it won't rely solely on luck. I appreciate that you liked my game tho. Thank you for playing!
Nice game. Graphics and artwork were both well done and while it was fairly short, it had the base of a solid puzzle game. If there were some way to improve your odds of getting certain rolls, or some obstacles or moving enemies or whatnot, I could see this expanding quite nicely. Well done!
That's a really good idea! Thank you!
I had fun playing this game! I thought the graphics and the sound were really well done. It's short, but very enjoyable, and I really like having the two modes. It's pretty cool how much of a difference there is in playing when using the hard die! Great job!
Thank you for playing! I'm glad that you enjoyed both mechanics!
Really fun game in addition to cool pixel graphics and some satisfying sound effects! Only real criticism is that it's a bit short and after reaching the end I felt like there wasn't much of a reason to replay. But the time I spent playing was worth it!
Thank you for playing! Maybe next time, I'll try to put some more level and some incentives so players won't be bored quickly.
i love the asthetics! great game, although i would’ve preferred the level design to be a bit different in hard mode. nevertheless, awesome game!
Thank you!
10/10 also that music is really good. Amazing game.
Edit: the music doesnt loop, is this intentional?
I think I forgot to check the loop checkbox. Thank you for pointing that out and for playing the game!
Really cool concept with simple, but good looking graphics. The hard mode is brutally hard, but it's called hard for a reason. Good job!
Thank you for playing! Glad that you liked it.
Wow this was a really difficult game. The easy mode was made a bit too easy, but the hard mode... It took me maybe like 15-20 tries. But it was a great game nonetheless.
Thank you for playing!
Really short and sweet. I really liked the concept of getting through using turn based movement with the dice roll!
I much preferred the easy mode over the hard as the numbers gave a better sense of fun than the arrows. Wish there was a slightly harder mode including the numbered pair.
But the simplistic 1bit art style also works really well as to not overwhelm, and just looks great in general!
Thanks a lot for the feedback!
I really like the cool turn-based movement system here. I'll definetly be on the lookout to implement something of the sort in one of my own projects.
Glad that you liked it! Thank you
Very cool game! Good work!
I said it once and I'll say it again, I'm really honored that the creators of Containment Breach like my game. Thank you!
Thank you!
Hi, the concept for this was pretty interesting. My one critique is that the numbers on the font were close enough that I couldn't tell what numbers were flashing by so I couldn't really try for good numbers (even if I could aim for something and miss it would have felt more satisfying). Luckily I got good rolls and made it to the end :)
I might try to redo the dice mechanic so it can be more enjoyable. Thank you for the suggestion and for playing the game!
Great game all around, similar feedback as others for the dice delay, but this felt like a good experience, I could see myself spending several hours on a game like this if you can get that luck/skill balance just right.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it! Thank you!
This was really clever and fun, fantastic concept. With some love and care I could see this becoming a full fledged game. Especially the Hard difficulty variant. I do wish there was some more delay or way to help us stop the roll better, at the moment if feels nearly pure RNG.
At first, I made the dice predictable so players can use it for their advantage but removed it immediately because I think it takes out the essence of the dice which is luck. Now that I read your comment and some other players that got frustrated since it's too hard, I think will be better if it's skill-based, not luck-based. Thank you for your kind feedback tho. It really means a lot to me.
Loved it! Really good use of the mechanic there!
Glad that you love it. Thank you!
