Great job! The pumpkin dying particles were super enjoyable, but unfortunately in the horde part the game started lagging so much that I had to quit it. Otherwise, great job!
Flat gameplay, but loved the particles! :>
The resolution in the browser was huge, which made it a bit hard to play. But the pumpkin death animation was so satisfying.
You can set it to the full screen, button in the lower right corner and thanks for playing
The shotgun was veeeery satisfying. The size of the horde shocked me, but were no match for Ol' Betsy and me. Nicely done.

That cutscene at the beginning alone deserves praise. Made me giggle :)
One feedback from me would be to change the pacing of the game. I thought the game would be more chaotic with gigantic weapons and so on.

Cons:
In fullscreen (1440x 2560) the hurt splash screen didn't cover the whole screen. Looked like it was set up for a 1080p screen only.
Second half lagged a bit and caused issues with firing a weapon. Took a second to realise I pressed fire.
Second half also felt boring quickly as there was no change in the game play and repetitive.
Pros:
Killing pumpkins was fun and satisfying.
Melee and the guns kept it fun enough to not feel like a restriction to only use 1. Though the shotgun was fun to spray with.
I hope this helps you and your next game will always be one step better then your last.

I loved the intro. The gameplay was pretty basic and fell apart towards the end (framerate drops) - but good job putting this together!
