Phew, that was a very tense experience, haha. Very good idea!

Challenging in a most unusual way. It's difficult to focus on which keys you're supposed to be pressing, and not just reading the interesting text in the thought bubbles. So that mirrors the process of writing quite well - idle thoughts v. pressing keys. ;)

Although I found myself wondering if my keyboard was registering my inputs as the number of thought bubbles increased. I didn't feel like I was always having an impact sometimes, but I could have just been pressing the wrong keys. It ended up being more frustrating than probably intended, though that might be my old laptop's fault.

Chill atmosphere and nice sound effects. Really creative concept. Well done!

I'm terrible at staying focused on my paper. Much more interested in the upcoming date :)

loved this

I managed to wright one sentence, however the story was engaging and the story made up for most of its flaws. the lack of music actually made it better as well, instead opting for the frantic typing of someone trying to finish a history paper during spring break. all in all a fun experience.

Very unique idea, but a little hard a times.

Great art style but the gameplay could use a lot more "juice" as the player feedback is quite lacking.

Developer

When you refer to "player feedback," are you referring to the knowledge of whether or not a player's inputs are working? Would it be improved by there being a mild flicker/pulsing effect on a thought when the player holds the respective key?

Submitted

I think that could work or something like a small hue shift.

Very cute game and idea! Unfortunately, I couldn't keep playing for long since I have issues with my hand, but I can see it being a great experience for everybody else! Well done!

Developer

Understandable! If I added an accessibility option so players would only need to press a key once, instead of holding it, would that make this playable for you?

Submitted

Yeah, that could work. Thank you for taking your time to address this!

Hey, I just wanted to thank you for addressing my problem in such a short amount of time. You rock!
