I made some small updates now, you don't need to manually restart when falling off a cliff and there's a slight variation in the music. :)

Nice game, very difficult though, I made it to the end and nothing happened.

Also I don't think a jump cooldown was necessary (unless this is supposed to be a rage game XD)

Was a lot of fun, good game!

Nice slide! :D Loved a lot of things about it but must say the loading part made me smile in a nostalgic way <3

Good game, pretty tough but was easier once I remembered I could push left (still could only make it about half way). I enjoyed all the details and the cute character, favorite feature the sprite glitches when you control r to restart. Was this individually done or an effect you added?

Developer

Thank you! :) lol, not this was not done by me, I think it's a feature perhaps in Pico-8 since it's supposed to act like an old cartridge.

Got the Pico-8 charme, which I love, and a great implementation of the limitation/theme. I enjoyed the game overall. One minor thing about restarting when falling off a cliff... ;)

Developer

Thanks! :D Have you made any games in Pico-8 before? lol I should really fix that. xD

Unfortunately no, but I own a similar virtual console named TIC-80 and I really want to try it out some time. Not sure what project it will be, though.

Developer

Ah, I hadn't heard about TIC-80 before but looked it up now and it looks simliar to PICO :) That's the good thing with gamejams, to be able to try out new things ^_^

nICE game, like others have said the game is not restarting when the player is off screen but I think the mechanics were good and fun to play.

Developer

Thanks ^^ Will see if I can fix restart later.

Those slippery surfaces are tricky :-)  Nice game, I haven't heard of Pico-8 before.  How easy was it to use?

One thing that seemed to be missing was an automatic restart if you fell through the gaps.

Nice game :-)

Developer(+1)

Thanks! :) It was... Not really that easy to use to be honest, there are some good tutorials on the web but most of the information is spread out and I feel like I would like to know more about how to use the editor, I feel quite lost at times with the UI ^^'. But it's cute, and it's fun that you can make both scripting, sprites and sounds in the editor.
Yeah, I agree that automatic restart would be good :D If I have time I will implement it later.

Really nice! Loving the fact that it's pico-8.  Music got a little bit repetitive though, but it was a fun little experience.

Developer(+1)

Thank you ^^ Yeah, I didn't see how I could make the song loop longer (if it's possible) will investigate!

noice game, but it doesn't stop or restart on falling in pit, manually restarting was annoying a bit otherwise fun gameplay and noice music :)

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, I didn't have time to fix the restart function, if I have time I will implement it later. :)

Nice game - really like the Pico-style. It feels nostalgic.
I was missing obstacles at first but quickly regretted that wish when the level started getting more difficult ^^

Developer

Thank you  ^^

Haha  good XD
