I love the stoner philosophy, and the art, also the music
Thanks!
Such a charming game! I genuinely enjoyed gliding through this world. While frantic clicking wasn't necessary, holding down a key or some one mechanic might be more gentle on the finger. Overall, wonderful game!
Thank you! Sure, it would be a good idea to revisit the flapping mechanic entirely if we continued to work on this.
Love your style! I can empty my mind and think about nothing when playing this game, feeling like I've become a flying penguin as well.
Thank you! That's everything I hoped to achieve with this game.
I am a sucker for paper themed anything honestly. The texture you used for the back along with the hand drawn assets radiate such a mood. As for the game play, the circular bar works and it definitely gives me a sense of executing a full "flap". If there was another indicator of performing a good flap, that would have had me wanting to do more perfect flaps. (sfx, particles, or maybe some transform animation)
The death sfx did give me a bit of scare and almost sounded strikingly dark / melancholic sounding compared to presented feel of the game. If that is the soundscape you guys imagined, then you did a great job!!
Those are good ideas about the flap action. If we were to make a full game out of this, that would definitely be a priority to work on. There's so much room for improvement there, but it would take time to try out ideas and get it right.
As for the death sound, I think that's apt. Something simple with the piano but that still conveyed a feeling that a bad thing happened. Now that you mention it, maybe this game might be better without a failure state. The obstacles are mostly there to give you a reason to move around, hopefully without being difficult.
Thanks for your feedback!
As a penguin enthusiast I loved this one. Relaxing and visually beautiful. Thank you!
Thanks so much!
Very pleasant! Lovely experience
Thank you!
What lovely animations. The graphics were a delight to watch. The music was a bit odd, but worked well too.
Good game and beautifully presented.
I have never successfully played an instrument, can you tell?
Thank you so much!
nice game! I like the art and the fluidity of the animation, playing this one is a relaxing experience for me, and reading the writings offer witty humor and evoke deep contemplation. I would like to play this again (very good replay value), overall I enjoyed playing, congratulations! keep it up!
Thank you! I'm glad you liked the game and our sense of humor

I liked the trip with this penguin, the art is really cute, animations fluids and the writings funny. I'm glad I tested it! Congrats!
Oh and yeah not always clear what you can touch or no when flying around :)
Good point. I rushed the collision shapes so sometimes it looks like you definitely should have hit something but it doesn't count. You should be able to pass through clouds and the string on balloons/kites, everything else is deadly.
Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you liked it!
I'm not sure what the circle around the penguin when I click means. The presentation is amazing though!
It's the strength of your flap, so clicking rhythmically is better than just clicking frantically. We didn't think of any better way to represent that before we ran out of time, so the circle is a holdover from the initial prototype. I'll add that to the description.
Thank you!
Good looking game and fun narrative throughout.
Thanks!
I like the animation for the game and the controls are solid.
Thank you! I spent a good chunk of time trying to make it feel right.
