The heat maps are super satisfying to watch grow and shrink! Really cool concept, maybe higher movement speed (and decreased beacon of warmth duration) could've made the game feel less slow-paced, but very fun nonetheless

Fun gameplay! It might have been a tad bit too easy because I felt myself securing many logs in advance while patiently waiting to feed the fire. Regardless, a lovely level of polish!

Brilliant humour, I laughed out loud multiple times which is rare when I'm alone. Unfortunately the save system is somewhat redundant because I end up continually reloading into my death (metaphorically speaking). This had a spooky amount of content for a game jam game

Very nice game with a really cool concept! Not usually a fan of tower defence but this felt really good to play. I never figured out how to kill the big triangles though, they always just destroyed everything :(

Great lighting and I love the fact that you took the time to do proper camera controls! The enemies felt a bit too fast for me though (or at least I couldn't see the twig fellas coming because they were hard to see outside of the light). My twig counter never went up so I could never restore health or restore fires :(

I love the chill music, and the terrain and sunset sky is really great for a jam game. Wish the player could get around a bit faster though

Really nice take on the limitation! The SFX got a little repetitive but it was nicely presented nevertheless

Very nice! Moving platforms caused some issues but all-in-all a fun experience

That's very understandable. I relate very much to the overscoping and I think you did a fantastic job nevertheless.

That was really enjoyable! I love the variety of upgrades. I was completely overwhelmed until I got "awaken from slumber" which felt a little too powerful at first until I got completely overwhelmed eventually anyway.

Very nice! Made me stress and feel cozy at the same time

Brilliant interpretation and a nicely polished trivia game at that! It's much harder than a conventional quiz because there are many possibilities, so I did have to google a few answers... It must have been so time consuming to find three different answers to each score

Very clever interpretation of the limitation! The character feels a bit fast for how little control you have in the height of the jump so it's very easy to die

Very cute vibe. The music loop is perhaps a bit short, but I enjoyed it

Nice game! It took me a lot of guess work to figure out how to use the fire and cold properly but it was interesting puzzles other than that

Thank you! That does seem to randomly happen but it's not common. Restarting almost always seems to fix the issue, so I'd recommend giving it one more go

Very nice! I love the Celeste-type mechanics. In my opinion the jumping was too floaty but great job regardless.

Very nice! As others have said, the marshmellow is quite difficult to control. If the friction was higher, the high player speed might have been fine

Thank you! Thanks for the feedback on the bugs - unfortunately it seems these little quirks are more common than I initially thought, so I might have to take the time to fix them at some point

Honestly, I was little confused about the gameplay and how to not die but it was fun nonetheless! Nice graphics as well

Really fun investigative little game! Unfortunately the inputs are a bit glitchy so it's really hard to play the game properly without continually dying

Really fun investigative little game! Unfortunately the inputs are a bit glitchy so it's really hard to play the game properly without continually dying

The gameplay was a little confusing but it's got nice graphics and it is indeed very cosy.

P.S. (to those wondering): The game is not broken anymore but is not installable via the itch app

Nice! I love the undertale vibes in this and the music is lovely and has the potential to be memorable and iconic. My only criticism is that the game doesn't give that much of a sense of direction, and I accidentally interacted with what I thought was a garage door when I ended the game. I realise that this is probably just because of time limitations though :)

Great game feel! I really enjoyed it. There's no movement penalty for spamming stomping though so I feel like the best strategy is the most boring one

A penguin shouting at me to stir is never something I thought would stress me out. Very cozy graphics with slightly frantic gameplay, very fun! The art quality is particularly impressive

Very nice core mechanics! Gets tough quickly but a lot of fun

Nice game! Excellent game feel between particles, bouncy text and good music and SFX. Very nice polish!

Very satisfying little game! I could see it becoming very fun if it was expanded into a bigger game. My only critique is that the gameplay loop becomes quite repetitive after a while, but it was fun nonetheless and it had a good level of polish!

Very interesting concept! I love how the warmth is incorporate mechanically and in the narrative

Took a hot minute to get into because of the difficulty, but it was quite fun afterwards! My highscore is 566 which is only barely above the starting score

I'm not usually one for card game video games but this was really, really fun. It made me really careful with what I was doing. Took a minute to get into though. Excellent game!

Incredibly interesting interpretation of the theme! I've been wanting to see more puzzle games in this jam and this is definitely a great one, though a very confusing concept to start with. However, the fact that the game allows using the horizontal edge for a vertical mirror and vice versa means that many of the puzzles aren't as difficult as they could/should be.

I really enjoyed it! There's a lot of potential in this concept for some really interesting puzzles, but the physics in this felt a bit unpredictable

Honestly, I feel a bit like I'm part of a terrorist cult after playing the game... but it was fun. Really great music and fun but simple gameplay.

Awesome music and an impressively detailed game for the time you had! I love the fact that enemies have navigation (which feels like an unnecessary but nice detail), that the UI pops out of the gun, and the awesome little solar flaps on the gun.
My main critique is that there is a lack of game feel (juicy animation, particle effects and more crunchy SFX in general) and that the game feels a bit too easy, even before upgrades (that should be solved by giving the player a lot less health).
Anyhow, awesome job and I hope you expand on it post-jam.

Really lovely! I could imagine a bigger game being centred around these mechanics. I discovered a bug in the UI which allowed me to spawn whatever I last built by clicking on the stats buttons. Safe to say, I exploited it a little:

I also didn't understand the monument and runes because I couldn't actually upgrade any of my stats, but that might have been because of the glitch.

Awesome use of the limitation and I love the art!

Very fun concept and an incredibly clever use of the limitation. Didn't take the time to get past the four though... very hard to place.

Very nice! Lovely music. The different endings are great.
