Neat concept, I liked the art too! Only thing was that the controls felt a little weird and you could stop when running into a building. Otherwise, solid game!
Quite fun, and the audio and visuals are great. nice job!
Interesting idea to combine an overworld in which you constantly move while actually solving a color painting puzzle! :) I wish there was a deeper point/game mechanic to collect the colors. You can also cheat and get stuck somewhere to paint without pressure :p
Overall an intersting idea, which I would be interested what else could be done with it!
Yup, I ran out of time to make it feel like an actual game.
you can still win it though if you complete all 4 paintings and get a secret feline surprise :P
Thanks for playing !
The principle is pretty cool, but I feel like there's one big aspect missing. Unfortunately, we can't lose, so we don't really have a challenge... The audio is very cool and matches the game so well
Agreed, this time I went for more of a casual game where you can just take your time.
I guess there could be a time trial mode where you need to finish in time and get a medal based on your time (like Trackmania for example).
Glad you liked the music, I went through quite some songs before settling on this one (should also convey the casual vibe :)
Thanks for your comments !
Good game, I like the musics! A little cons is the rules of the game, you put them on the begining but they are to wide for the screen, I had to use space to read all the rules. Anyway I liked playing your game!
I struggled a bit with the tutorial part. At first I wanted to make it that you would drive to the first part, then stop and then have to click a button to progress. But that was too much work for the time and I figured people could just drive back and forth if they wanted to ready the rules (like you did with space). It;s not perfect, but it kinda works I guess :)
Thanks for your feedback !
I like that. Music/Sounds works well. Maybe little bit to easy, I would prefer that i can die. But over all it makes fun, well made. I liked your cat picture :D.
The game is very easy, probably influenced by the game jam I did last week where I made a frustatingly hard platformer.
Having a casual mode and a harder mode is on my ideas list, but there was not enough time to implement this.
Glad you had fun though, Auri says hi! (My cat :P)
The concept is quite original and pretty fun. The music is good and the pixel is pleasent to the eyes.
The only problem I found is that it is too easy to just cheat and go straight in a wall to stop, you should maybe disable the drawing if the player collide with a wall.
Overall great game ! (and the picture was really nice)
I agree that the game is not hard. The initial idea was to make your collected paints go fly away back onto the map if you collide, but I did not manage to get that implemented in time.
Thanks for playing and leaving a review!
Good game!
Car a little bit buggy (got stuck in a building and couldn't get out), but it's not such a serious problem
Thanks!
I had the stuck bug also a couple of times, that's why the last thing I added was a respawn (backspace). But you need to read the description below the game for that. I didn't have time to add it to the in game tutorial.
This is SO much fun, and the audio and visuals are wonderful. Fantastic job!
Wow, I didn't expect any comments yet before the rating period started so this is a nice surprise :D
Glad you enjoyed it, I'm fairly happy with it myself although I still had some more ideas I wanted to implement, but for the short time there was it got together quite well :)
Thanks for the comment !
Lol, I had finished everything I needed to do for my team so I got curious and started playing some people's games already. :P
