Soundtrack has been uploaded to Bandcamp! https://ottereve.bandcamp.com/album/hide-or-die-ost-godot-wild-jam-74

I have uploaded the main theme for this game to Bandcamp! https://ottereve.bandcamp.com/track/swamp-sunday-godot-wild-jam-73

Thank you so much for playing on stream, it really means a lot!!!

We're all really excited to touch up the game after the voting period is over and fix all the little bugs and confusions. 🫶

Thank you so much for the kind words!! <3

Thanks so much for playing!! <3

This is a really creative idea for the theme. I couldn't really tell why I was taking damage when I was just standing next to the wall. I wasn't able to figure out how to navigate through most of the game but I think there's a lot of potential here.

i HAD to check this one out after I saw Cameron Paxton's upload on Youtube. You.... you made nearly 13 minutes of music in four days....? That's... genuinely terrifying.

This game was one of the most fun games I've played this jam! This Vampire Survivors-esque gameplay loop is really freshened up by the ability to build and place my upgrades where I want. I'm not sure if their placements had any actual effect(?) but I enjoyed piecing them all together nonetheless. And the intro to the game is extremely charming with a great hook of a twist. And of course I love the music very very much. I hope this one gets more recognition, great job to everyone involved!

All it said is "this item can't be opened" and then i got a popup saying it was damaged and needed to be moved to the trash. If something says it can't be opened, I can usually mess around in the terminal and get it to bypass whatever is stopping it, but if it's damaged i don't think I can do anything.

Thank you so much!! <3

Thank you so much for your feedback! We're excited to update the game post-jam with some of these features/fixes. :)

Thank you for playing & for the feedback! <3

Thanks for playing!!

I wasn't really able to play fully because due to graphical bugs, I could only play the game if I disabled the tutorial, and then I didn't know what I was doing lol  😅 But the idea is very creative!

Thank you for such in-depth feedback! We are hoping to update the game after the jam, so we appreciate any & all feature suggestions and bug reports. :)

Thank you so much!!!

Super duper fun! I loved how exaggerated the difference in scale is in this game. And I liked how whenever I took a lot of damage, the fact that I got smaller actually tended to give me a chance to run away and regroup. Sometimes enemies spawned right on me, and I got blindsided a couple of times by enemies that were so small I could barely see them, but overall I had a blast. Really great game you've made here!

Thank you for playing! That was definitely a feature we wanted to add but were too busy doing last minute bug-fixes to implement.

Getting the boulders to actually become bigger was very finicky, but once it started working for me I enjoyed the game loop! Simple and fun.

I love the look of this one. The controls seemed too finicky to be able to play-- I wasn't able to pick up the fertilizer for the life of me, and I kept not pulling up weeds even though I was right on top of them. This game has really great potential though and I'd love to try an improved version!

Very solid puzzle game!

Mac build can't be opened unfortunately 😢 Same thing happened with my team's game 😭

Super creative and I love the style. The gameplay ended up being very trial-and-error for me, because I couldn't tell where the goal was until i switched to dreamworld. But this idea has a lot of juice to it. Really really clever.

Suuuuuper addicting. Really enjoyed the gameloop. The SFX overlapping on top of each other became really loud REALLY fast. Maybe limit the number of the same SFX instance allowed to exist at the same time, or make each SFX have a 10-20% chance to trigger instead of 100% chance for every single one. Love this entry, great job!!

This one is super fun. Great puzzle design, I love when things have multiple solutions! For QOL it would be nice to have a trajectory line for my projectiles. Also I would have liked a little coyote time but I bet that would require reworking some puzzles. Overall fantastic entry!

I'm really bad at these types of games but this one is good! Simple premise that is well-executed.

Love the music and SFX in this game a lot! I couldn't really tell how it fit the theme but I'm guessing the setting is just on a microscopic scale? Cool idea. I'm really bad at puzzle games but I like this one.

I love the mouth SFX hehehe

Great job! I would suggest taking a bit more time to balance the levels of your music and SFX but I assume you ran out of time.

Thank you for your kind words! 🫶🫶🫶

Thank you so much!! 🥰

Thanks so much for the feedback! :D

No need to apologize-- it's a 4 day game jam, almost everyone's games are at least a little bit buggy. :)

Really enjoyed this game! Amazing art and writing. I ran into a bug where I was unable to put a piece down, which softlocked the game for me. But the parts of the game I did see were fabulous! Great work!

Whenever I died it made me sad because I thought of the little doggy on the itch page.

Great game!

The voice over was very cute!

Fun style and well-made game! Since this is a rhythm game, I do really wish that the music was made specifically for the game rather than using free assets, but I understand if you weren't able to find a composer. I think you could have switched up the rhythm a bit more to fit more with the music, as playing it made me feel like the music was more of an afterthought. However, I do like rhythm games and this one is a solid one. Good job!

i LOVE me an interactive audio system! and the penguin is so cute!! I do wish the music looped more seamlessly, and I wish the SFX were in tune with the music, but this is me being nitpicky because I love interactive audio and I can see its potential to do even more for your game.

Really unique game with a great style. Couldn't play it for very long because it kept freezing and crashing after my moongirl grew one size. However if it ever gets more stable I am excited to play more. :)
