I like the concept, and I think it’s quite a novel idea. I enjoy matching the spells with the enemies, but it feels like the enemies are way too fast, making it difficult to notice the “immune” text and find the right spell in time. Despite this, the game has a potential and is fun to play.
I like the concept of being at the center being attacked by all sides. I think that’s innovative. The spells look really nice, too, but I had a little trouble understanding their purposes, as there aren’t any words explaining what they’re for so I don’t quite understand their differences. Having a title would be good. But they are also a lot of spells and I don’t have time to switch between them or even remember all the possible options.
I still do really like the concept and think it’s a cool idea, it was very engaging. The sound design was also good.
I think having some way to prepare before the enemies attack, like a preview of what enemies will be showing up in the round would be very helpful so that the player can prepare their spells. The thing about having to scroll to get your spell is that you can't do it quick enough for how fast the enemies are coming in. So overall, I think maybe thinking on a different system for the spell picking would be a good idea and slowing down the enemies a bit as well.
I would recommend adding some sort of information about what the spells do. There is no indicator that the enemies might be immune to certain spells until you blast them 50 times and they walk through it. I died several times before noticing the 'immune' text that pops up. The spells also feel quite weak, especially compared to how fast the enemies are.
