Gave max rating for gameplay because it was cool cool seeing the knight bouncing haha. learning curve is steep though
thanks for playing! We are working on making the controls more accurate and releasing as a Mobile game :D
It's very satsifying to line up a shot correctly and smash through everything in the room, also Alphonse's spinning animation is pretty funny. I would certainly make the doors wider though, sometimes it was frustrating not being able to get through.
Thanks for playing and the feedback. We are already working on these improvements, mainly control accuracy and object size/spawn. We'll release as a mobile version
Good idea! Remind me some of the escape platform games. But I think the control mechanics can be better, because it is a bit unpreditable while the Character is moving fast. And also the door is design to be hard open or? LOL
Thanks for playing and feedback! The controls indeed need more work. About the door, tbh I think I messed up the joint and resulted in this sometimes unpredictable difficult to open hahaha
Topzeira of the galaxies
Great idea ! Reminded me of those flash games I used to play when I was younger.
The first doorway is hard to go through even more since the fire is fast. I think you should add items or stuff you can buy with gold between runs.
Congrats !
Thanks for the feedback. We definitely will add items and powerups to buy between runs. It was actually planned, but not enough time to implement during the jam D: Also, tuning the difficult a bit more, to be more challenging as you progress.
Do you think you will continue working on this Project? I think it has a lot of potential to become a really fun game. Currently though, there are some things that put me off a bit.
I have a hard time controlling the character because the 'drag indicator' does not follow the camera. Also I needed multiple tries to get through the first doorway since it is pretty narrow.
The idea is great and the visuals are charming, so I'd really like to get back to it, when the controls are more polished.
Thanks for the feedback! We are thinking about releasing for mobile. But we first want to polish and introduce some new features. Drag indicator is basically our first priority now, unfortunately we were not able to fix in time for the Jam deadline D:
You're welcome! Yeah, deadlines are hard. Our game ended up having just a wall at the end of our level.
With a little finetuning, this could make a really addictive mobile game!
Nice work :)
Thanks, that's exactly what we are aiming for. Some improvements and release for mobile! :D
The gameplay is really fun and the controls are really easy to learn!
Thanks buddy!
