The three different characters were fun to play and it felt like they all had a place as opposed to one being significantly better. I liked the pushable hearts I thought that was a cool little feature. Making a larger arena with more stuff in could be cool and some kind of a spawning and dying animation but overall quite fun. Nice job.
Thank you so much for playing im happy you had fun!
I will update the game and add more animations and things after the jam :D
Nice little game, I liked especially the different gameplay between each character, and the feedback sounds that you made!
The only critiscim that I had: it misses some visual feedback on the progression of the game. And, I had a weird bug where I had no more life but I could continue to play.
Overall gg for your work!
Thanks for playing :) Im happy you liked it!
I'll try to fix it and add some UI for the progression...
Thanks again! :D
I chose magician and pacing was really nice for me... It was cool to play. Nothing fancy.
Good game. Thanks for making it!
Im glad you had fun :)
Thanks for playing! :D
Using archer, quite a fun game! Some progress indication would be good, I started to think it might be endless waves at one point.
Great idea! Thanks for playing and responding :D
I chose warrior and felt a bit slow, but I guess that was a tradeoff for better attack? I enjoyed playing and got to the 2nd level but eventually died. I agree with some of the other commenters, a brief explanation of what some icons/effects mean would have gone a long way. Sometimes things that seem obvious to the creator are not so clear to a new player.
I liked that you included a class selection. The SFX were also pretty funny. Well done on your entry to the jam.
Yes the worrior is the strogest among the three. Thank you for playing :)
I liked the character selection and the progressive dungeon format! As the others have said, some animations and polish would go a long way. Also, I wasn't too sure about what was going on in the game so it could use some readability. For instance what were the bubble and bone icons above enemy's heads? Also the double cursor was a bit strange but not too big of a deal
Thank you so much for the replay :)
this is absolutly true. i wanted to add a lot of animations and more things, (also a tutorial and and a controls window) but in the end i didn't had any time left .. :\
The bones says when an enemy attack hit its target, and the bubbles says that this enemy is 'confused' and he will attack other enemies for a couple of seconds.
The idea with the 2 crosshairs is that you could see the 2 attacks ranges (close and far ranges).
Im glad you liked the style and I hopes next time i'll have more time to add more polish.
Need a bit of polish. Some animations would be cool. But i had fun playing it. Good job! :)
Thank you for playing and commenting! You're right P:
Beat the game :D! I like the idea of choosing your character (I chose archer), and the sfx were very funny ("eaugh", "brr" etc), but effective! I also enjoyed the progressive stages, though I think a progressive/endless set of dungeons with a high-score element would have been more effective. Also some post-processing, screenshake, or particles for a little extra game-juice could never hurt could it? Overall, I gave a 4-star for engagement and 3 for the rest, well done!
Thank you so much for the feedback!
It was my first time trying to handle a ton af new things I learnd (code wise) and the implantation of the charachter choosing and diversty of the enemies was part of that :)
Unfortunately because of this the code took me so much time that I didn't left any to add more "sauce" to the game
Thanks again, Really appreciate it! :D
