Super engaging! Getting hard really quickly.
Lol I died from death music - Sad Romance. So silly and creative, really xD
Great game! I really liked the polish and the fact that you can balance having towers with doing damage yourself! Good work!
Nice game. Very hectic but quite polished
Nice action based tower defence game. Not sure what happened after a while, I just got run over by an armee of monsters. Otherwise it was really fun to play.
Hm. Are you even supposed to beat that first gigantic wave? It doesn't feel balanced at all.
Besides that, nice game I guess. It is kinda hard to reach buttons 456 when your hand is on WASD normally, so I'd suggest you to find some better way to switch weapons - f.e. use QE and space instead of 456.
Fun little game to play, the music fits the game really well. Great game!
Nice game! I couldn't close the tutorial sign for some reason which was a little annoying to see the bottom part of the game, but game was really engaging!
Really nice project. I guess that you have tried to balance the game by making the bats only getting hit by the fireballs, right? Because the walls were really overpowered... At least, at first.
I thing this could have had some ways to stop the player, like some enemies that attack you instead of the crown, and others ways/paths too. But in overall, I really like how you made this game. Congratulations!
Hello, you made some really impressive game!
But I have also some constructive feedback for you: I think color scheme makes it hard to differentiate between some object, for example white (or light gray) object ore somewhere in the background, sometimes you collide with them, or enemies are nor much distinct from the purple-ish background. It's hard to track them. It would be great to have a pointer to enemies, that are out of the screen.
I like the idea of having a tower defense game where you have to manage building defenses, repairing the crown, and fighting yourself at the same time.
The difficulty curve was a bit odd though. It is very easy till the timer hits 200 and then it suddenly becomes impossible. It also wasn't very engaging to think about a strategy because you can just spam the defenses at the center. Maybe you could limit the number of placements at a location or spawn certain types of enemies from just one direction. Overall fun game.
This game looks great and plays really nice! The text box at the bottom hides enemies though, I'm not sure if it is supposed to stay there
Fun game, loved the feeling of throwing down dozens of staffs as fast as possible. Great entry!
Really cool game, i got to 1000+ cause i found that if you spam the healing even when the crown gets to 0 health it prevents the game from ending and then i spammed staffs
Great game, really enjoyed playing it!
I got 185 before I got rushed by a million enemies :D
Fun game! I really liked building the towers much more than the fireball shooting, although I wish the archers aimed better, it seems like they were only shooting to the right, which was really frustrating, since it seemed like there wasn't a great way to use them even though they were expensive.
But still had a great time playing it, good work!
First of all, thanks for doing "hold mouse button to shoot". So many shooting games in this jam had me forced to spam click the left mouse button.
That being said, i'm not a fan of the fuel mechanic. I was honestly overwhelmed most of the time and I could just shoot fireballs.
I didn't have breaks to build "towers". I had no indication on where the enemies are coming from. The crown and fuel are glowing brightly, and there is too many visual effects so I don't see enemies often before it's too late.
I can see a lot of effort has been put into this game, and I do value it so I am rating it highly. I just think some deviations you decided to take from the tower defense genre didn't land quite well in this game.
Haha that difficulty curve sure SPIKED right there. I had a nice little ring of the new weapons, and suddenly a horde of 40 enemies just bum rushed the crown. Oh well, it was fun up till that!
It was a really interesting game, kind of mix between top-down shooter and TD. I wished that I was able to switch weapons without taking my hand off of WASD, but I'm not sure how you would solve that problem, using the mouse to direct fire. Other than that, the only other issue I had was that some gems would spawn within places I couldn't reach.
I thought the level setting was well designed, good use of the tiles for that. The start menu was a nice touch, but I don't think your other menus got as much attention. Still, for a prototype, it's better to have the functionality in there than not at all! And like others have said, the tutorial box staying visible did feel a little distracting.
Nice game - ran really well! I like the variety of weapons and enemies, kept you thinking... Got hard quick though, would have appreciated a bit more time to get used to the new weapons, but then on second and third play through I got the hang of it!
Really nice game.
Rate my build.
jesus christ. Finally someone who overcame the difficulty curve. There's actually an easter egg if you reach 1k. I was planning a boss there, but its unfinished lol.
