The combat system was really fun! It reminds me of Dark Souls and Ys. More sound effects and player feedback will make the game a lot more polished.

Hi!

Pretty good game with good control. Is very important to have nice control in such games so good work! :)

But i didnt like any things:

1) Font is unreadable on grass background

2) I dont know mb its a feature, but if i move horizontally character became faster (i think its caused by a not normalized movement vector)

So it is :D

Good luck!

Thanks for playing! I definitely could've chosen a better color set for the text, or just had it bordered in black, I was going to go with a red or some other contrasting color but I felt like it would've looked sloppy for some reason, the text part was a bit rushed. The movement definitely wasn't supposed to move faster horizontally, I think you mean diagonally which in that case it definitely is caused by that. Another mechanic that was rushed, didn't feel the movement being faster in that moment hindered the game so I just went with it.

Good duck game man^^

Nice game! I liked to feed the duck, especially on how it grew each time I fed him ^^

Unfortunately, I couldn't find the last meat for the duck, and I died, so I lost all my progress, it was quite frustrating.

However, I enjoyed well the gameplay with the sword, for me the only thing that you can improve on it, it is the mouse lock which is disabled for the moment. Indeed, a lot of time I hit elsewhere on my Window, so with a mouse lock, it would fix this little issue.

Overall gg for your work!

Fun game! I liked how you couldn't just hold the attack button and had to instead swipe around like crazy with the sword, made the gameplay feel more engaging. The enemy attacks were well telegraphed so never felt unfair. I liked the gameplay loop of going out and grabbing meat then bringing it back, but maybe it would help to have an arrow pointing back to the duck when you are holding meat. It would help inept players such as myself. I wanted to continue playing it more and beat it but unfortunately I dashed into a fence after I had already made a lot of progress and didn't want to restart and lose all my progress. Picture attached. I liked the game tho

Yeah this happens because the collision code I used doesn't quite work with how I do movement, did not have enough time to fix it. You did have 3 lives so you would've just re spawned with your progress still saved, but I could've done a bit more to fix this issue (even just a hack-job patch of some sort). Thanks for playing!
