Impossible to dodge cars at all, I found the best way to play to at least reach the end was to hold w in roughly the middle of the road. Really unique and fun art style, but sometimes you can see it was scanned with weird white dots. And the stretched scale on the background makes it look a little weird. Music is fun and good for the vibe of the game, but a tad repetitive. This game just feels like it needs something more to it over the long ride. The mechanics were interesting, but I am not sure if they are the most enjoyability even after getting used to them. Generally some balancing would help this game a lot. Good job though!
Holding forward to go faster makes it really tough to dodge anything, and cars move wayyyy to quickly to react to. Also, it kinda forces you to stay on the top half of the screen, which makes a lot of the space dead air thats just useless. fun concept though, just needed a little more balancing.
You *accelerate* on the top part of the screen, you only lose speed when you hit something. So you have to spend a bit of time in the upper part to gain speed and then move around more freely to dodge better.
A warning sign and honk happening before cars appear on screen was planned, but I didn't manage to implement it in time for submission. I did get to it yesterday though and it will be included with a general polish update that releases once voting has finished.
The game was challenging took me a minute to know that I had to hold forward to go faster. Once I did I found it very hard to avoid hitting anything. Still though the originality of the art was very good, I love the hand drawn and scanned in aspect of it.

Love the art direction, I wish the brakes kick in faster. Avoiding cyclist in front seems to be very hard. Love the cycling mouse.
Visually stunning. The crayon art is really charming, animations and characters are adorable, and the music is cheerful and calming. There's a few of these types of games in the jam but this one wins for sheer style.
The cars seem a little unfair in terms of how quickly they appear, I wish there was an audio cue or something so you even had a shot at avoiding them. I tried to get the achievements and they are brutally hard - mostly because there's just no avoiding those cars!
Thanks! The difficulty is very hard for a first level, and visual/audio indicators were planned and we even made the assets for it, but I didn't manage to implement it in time. It will be in an update once the voting has ended and there will be more levels with an easier one for the start :)

Wow the art is really unique and the art looks legitimately hand drawn on paper, it's so charming! Kept getting knocked down by cars damn drivers have no respect for cyclists. Fun experience managed to finish it, no way am I going to try those challenges but good luck to anyone who does!
whaa thank you!! It actually is hand drawn on paper and then scanned and cleaned digitally (it was so much work but turned out worth it!)
