Please use this form if you'd like critique on your game!

Game Title/URL: Self-explanatory.  Link your game here.

Pitch/Information: A short description of the game.

I'd like feedback on: You can put a list, questions, or description of what you would like critique on. Can be "anything!" if you're not looking for anything specific.

I need help on: Optional; remove if unnecessary, but if you have a specific problem or bug that you would like help or advice with solving, put it here!

Game Title/URL: https://thepsionic.itch.io/frogleap

Pitch/Information: A random platformer based around a little frog!

I'd like feedback on: Anything - I'm aware of physics bugs related to getting stuck on the floor and sticking to the wall, and the game is more of a prototype than anything, but for the rest I'd love to hear what you think!

Game Title/URL: https://turaida.itch.io/wish

Pitch/Information: "Wish" is a game about puzzles, magic, and turning into a bed. Or a mirror. Or a cat. Anything, really. (Well, nothing structurally integral to the house at least.)

I'd like feedback on:  I'd appreciate feedback on the puzzles: are they too difficult? Too easy? Are the commands tedious? Is the solution to a puzzle unclear? What exactly do I do with this live, beating, centuries-old heart?

I need help on: If a suspected bug is encountered, and you'd like to report it, please give information about what room it occurred in and what commands were given in sequence leading up to the bug.

Game Title/URL:  https://xda-shinigamix.itch.io/droplet

Pitch/Information: I made this in Gamemaker and pretty much you play as a water droplet going around collecting stars

I'd like feedback on: Anything really...maybe more on the art

Game Title/URL: Feeble Fire https://lemonbalmgames.itch.io/feeble-fire

Pitch/Information: Third person action-adventure game lighty inspired by Dark Souls. It has some great voice acting in it and I'm told it doesn't look half-bad either for a low-poly title.

I'd like feedback on: I'm still relatively new to this whole game dev thing so any feedback will be much appreciated. Please let me know how the game runs on your machine and if the untested gamepad controls work.

That's all, I hope you'll enjoy my little creation.

Game Title/URL: https://takumaokada.itch.io/thirst-a-journey-to-the-fountain-of-life

Pitch/Information: You have one last journey to make, and friends to see along the way. Currently only done with the witch routes,  will be adding the castle and ship routes soon hopefully and fiddle with them to make them more distinct.

I'd like feedback on: Pretty much anything, although I would definitely appreciate thoughts on length and replayability, especially the back half, as I intended this to be a short but multi-playthrough game for the different endings.

Game Title/URL: https://zickezacke.itch.io/escape

Pitch/Information: Escape! is a First Person Puzzle Adventure Game

I'd like feedback on: We are aware of the fact that the game is ridiciously easy at the moment. This is just a demo that demonstrates the overall feel of the game and the mechanics we could implement during two weeks of development time. But if you got anything regarding graphics or any idea of developing the current gameplay further, feedback in any form will be highly appreciated! :)

Game Title/URL: The Long Way Home
Pitch/Information: A 2d platformer made in unity.

I'd like feedback on: anything!

Submitted

Game title/URL: https://sleepygame.itch.io/home

Pitch/Information: A short interactive fiction game which starts with you living on the streets.

I'd like feedback on: Anything really, but especially the story, how engaging it is, whether the passages feel too long/short, and how much it all  makes sense!

Submitted

Game Title/URL: Plastic Sea

Pitch/Information:
Steer a paper boat to collect some of the most common trash items found in our oceans.
Your efforts will make a visible change to your surroundings.

I'd like feedback on: Any feedback is welcome!
It's our first game, so feedback on how it feels to play would be nice. It's not meant to be a challenge but more of a relaxing experience - does it work as such? Are the control scheme and the objective intuitive enough? (We found most people don't click on "Help" or "Credits" before Starting, so maybe it'd have been better to just include that into before the start of the game.)
Also on the art and how it changes. We've noticed that some people didn't even notice the changes until the last one, so should they be more drastic or does the subtlety maybe encourage a second playthrough where one spends more time noticing the visuals?

Game Title/URL: Aqua Road

Pitch/Information: A 3D Isometric mobile infinity runner where you control various boats to reach the maximum distance above the river! Play and unlock all 10 additional boats for fun, make your best highscore and be the first in the global ranking! You can customize your controls type choosing betwen swipe controls or tap controls, for more comfort while you playing. Is your smartphone lagging? You can disable shadows for more performance and fluid gameplay.

I'd like feedback on: Anything! I think is a pre-finished game, that needs some more polishments before a "finished" version. So, for now, I'm using Kenney's assets (from official website), but I want to, in future, a full re-design for using my own visual assets (UI and 3D meshes). All song effects are royalty free, bringing from YouTube Audio Library and Freesound. All platforms will be updated, but Android version will be updated more quickly (the Google Play version will be the most updated version ever, being updated more fastly than Android version from itch.io, Linux, macOS and Windows versions available only on itch.io). Thank you!! :D

Game Title/URL: https://noobinside.itch.io/find-the-water

Pitch/Information: A Puzzle game where you need to find the water.

I'd like feedback on: Anything.

Submitted

Game Title/URL :  Solace Grey

Pitch/Information : A visual novel in a victorian age about business associations.

I'd like feedback on: Art, Game play, is it fun to play?  (With the demo thus far that is) As for myself, things to improve on for me personally (My role is  the UI design and i did some of the programming)

Submitted

Game Title/URL: Pell Goes Home

Pitch/Information: A quiet game about a kid named Pell and their walk home.

I'd like feedback on: Everything! I was mainly testing out my knowledge of rm2k3 so any feedback on how the game played and story/art would be very helpful thank you!

Submitted

Game Title/URL: https://stubean.itch.io/up-shore

Pitch/Information: A 2D puzzle platformer where you control both a kid and a mermaid, as they have to work together to overcome obstacles and trials.

I'd like feedback on: Anything! Let us know what you think! We are aware of some physics bugs with walls, the tutorial and water levels not being synced correctly. But otherwise it's all good!

Game Title/URL: https://strung-up-starlight.itch.io/the-academy-jam-version

Pitch/Information: (An adventure game developed in RPG Maker concerning a weird fantasy world with a contagion edge to it.)

I'd like feedback on: (Dialogue, storyline, worldbuilding, writing in general. I would also like feedback on the puzzles: were they too easy? Too difficult? I feel like when I release games, I never receive any comments on them, so I never know if I'm doing okay or if I need to improve something. Any direction would be nice (especially if there's any glitches or something very obvious that I've missed), but I would specifically ask you to focus on these things in particular.)

Submitted

Game Title/URL:  https://lalorezzproductions.itch.io/tgis

Pitch/Information: A 2D platformer where you try to reach the finish. Every level is harder (if you see some glitch effect/spinning object/etc, know it is meant to do that).

I'd like feedback on: Everything.

Submitted

Game Title/URL: https://kanagaki.itch.io/dead-mall-side-scroller

Pitch/Information: You are a wayward soul wandering a dead mall in search of something to drink. Run, jump, and feel the crushing emptiness that is the dying institution of "the mall."

I'd like feedback on:  The visuals - the character sprites, the background tiles, the colors used, technique, etc. Also, anything else that stands out to you, but given the simple nature of the game.

I need help on: Background tiles- this, apart from music, was probably my biggest hurdle during this project. Next, music theory, the music was made by clicking on random notes on Bosca Ceoil until I landed on something that sounded decent. I'd appreciate any resources on either of these things, preferably geared towards an absolute beginner.

Thank you.

Game URL: https://ozzi9816.itch.io/alchemy-game-demo

Information: ARPG where you can shoot stuff at things

I'd like feedback on: Mostly the control system I suppose, and whether it feels good. Though if there's anything else you can point out, I'd appreciate it

Game Title/URL:  The New Continent

Game Title/URL: At The Sea's End

Pitch/Information: "At The Sea's End" is an underwater puzzle adventure game that narrates a Lighthouse Keeper's quest on retrieving their soul underwater.

I'd like feedback on: Whether the characters/plot is interesting, overall writing and the difficulty of the first puzzle, if it's doable and provides enough hints.

I need help on: Music. We are not composers and it takes us a lot of time to try and make our own or to find any suitable music at all. Also, if you ever find any bugs please do let us know.

Game Title/URL: Delphorium

Pitch/Information: A Relaxing Musical Experience set Deep underwater. A score-based beat rhythm game.

I'd like feedback on: Do you understand how to play? What additional content would you like? Do you want to play it on your phone? Is there anything else I can do to help your experiance? Anything you have in mind - let me know :)

I need help on: depends on the feedback.
