Lovely art style! Had some intitial difficulties identifying the interactive parts of the game (where to click and drag) but once I found out, it was pretty fun. Great entry - keep up the good work!

Very clever idea and great art style! The amount of assets made in this short period of time is crazy. Only thing that irritated me is that sometimes the perfect shot required me to cut of a good portion of the character - but may be a browser related issue as well. Anyway, very impressive and enjoyable entry!
Thanks for playing and your valuable feedback - I really appreciate it! In terms of controls I thought more of a car(t) controller than your typical character controller. But I was kind of surprised that people seem to struggle with it - I thought this control scheme was quite common beforehand. Will try to experiment with some alternatives after the jam!
Loved the style of the ducks and that they have "gmtk" on their bellies! Movement and gameplay mechanics were a bit confusing and first. If you're planing to extend your game after the jam I would suggest introducing the ducks, their special abilities and what can be done with them gameplay-wise one after the other. Nice entry nevertheless - enjoyed it!
Hey fellow pure jammers! Lovely entry as always and very unique gameplay! Really like the art style and the mixture between 2D and 3D and timing of the intro sequence plus transition to the main scenery is outstanding! The sound design and all these little story illustrations are on point as well. Congratulations - had much fun playing this! :)
Very compelling little experience! The sound design is massive on this one - very atmospheric right from the start! The rewind and play mechanic is very unique as well and that small jingle is so pleasing and gentle to your ears that it does not get annoying even after hearing it a bunch of times! Congratulations to your entry - very well done!
I like the overall idea being stuck in a ticket office while different characters step up to your window. And - oh my god - these ghost: They look so creepy!! The art is very convincing, sound design gets a bit repetitive after some time. But overall: Congratulations, a neat little gameplay idea very well executed!
Very atmospheric indeed! The sound design on this one is particulary strong - was afraid right from the start. The purpose of the purple bar and the fact that lights are a gameplay element could be emphasized. And i liked the end screen - wished for an intro screen as well to get to know your main character a bit more. Congratulations to your entry!
Hey Brackeys Game Jam Community,
I am Lukas (30 years), a Game Developer and Coder specialised in Unity and 2D Games for mobile platforms (iOS/Android). I got +5 years experience in Unity development, +2 of them working as a fulltime developer in a digital agency based near Berlin.
Since joining a game jam just by oneself is a quite lonely experience I am looking for some team mates, preferably with somehow similar skill levels (don’t be afraid, I am already happy with 2-3 completed game projects). I can speak German and English and got discord and everything. Similar time zones would be advantageous as well! :)
So if this suits your team, I am happy to hear from you! Have fun and good luck to everyone! 🤟

Pitch/Information: Escape! is a First Person Puzzle Adventure Game
I'd like feedback on: We are aware of the fact that the game is ridiciously easy at the moment. This is just a demo that demonstrates the overall feel of the game and the mechanics we could implement during two weeks of development time. But if you got anything regarding graphics or any idea of developing the current gameplay further, feedback in any form will be highly appreciated! :)
Game Jam is over! You can play a demo of the game here: https://zickezacke.itch.io/escape
Hey guys,
I'm looking for a 2D Artist and a Sound Designer to join my team!Game is already working in its basic bits, it's going to be kind of a 2D Survival Shooter, but now I need someone to bring it to life. I'm no professional, just doing jams for learning Unity and C# - so don't hesitate to write me, if you're interested and still want to be part of the melon game jam! I'm glad about every request!
Hope you're all doing well with your fancy melon games!
Cheers,
Lukas
