I forgot castlevania has those weird staircases. Haha. Lots of nostalgic feel, amusing sound effects and perfectly stiff animations that felt just right. Very strong NES feel for me. Nice work!

super authentic little adventure. enjoyed it until the full restart, but i guess i do just lack endurance for that 😅 cool game and super chill music, well done.

Aye pretty good attempt at castlevania. Movement felt similar with that clunkiness, but it's actually much more fluid from what I remember. The crouch unfortunately felt very useless as it didn't really work against any projectiles, nor did it really prevent you from getting knocked back.

This really feels like an NES game. Great work!

I got the orb.

The NES feel is perfect in this one, the tune is great, the enemies look specially cool, the heavy control feeling is on point and the game is really fun to play, the difficulty was perfect to me, I think it took me 3 tries from the last checkpoints which felt appropriate.

Really nice! It looks great, and the game feel is classic. I especially love the cool blood FX when you defeat an enemy.

Really feels like a nes-era castelvania. Fun and a good amount of difficulty with really nice graphics.

The graphics and monster design is great (especially the bullet rose that's awesome!) but I can't get myself to finish the game yet because the character movement feels too clunky for me. Maybe it's just because I'm used to playing games with fast responsive characters, but it feels like I'm fighting the character movement more than the enemies at times.

That aside, the level design is really nice! and the music is very castlevania. I may come back to this later and try again to beat it
