I completed the first two levels without much problem. Third level was suuuuuper difficult but I finally found a strategy that worked. I have not beaten level 4 yet :/

Anyway, well done and super cool art style!

Awesome job! The design is great and I love how we had a similar structure of our games! I only wish I got to play more levels!

Spooky! I love the ability to scout out the level and look at the environment in the daylight, and wow does the vibe change as soon as you pick up the lantern! The same environment feels so different under the lantern light, but provides good landmarks for navigating in the dark. Love the art, concept and execution!

Cool game! Spooky and concept relevant to the theme. Each level feel different and the graphics make a great use of the two colors restrictions. That may be just me but I would have loved to see to see a tad more elaborate walk cycle for instance by inserting a frame (in which both head and shoulders of the character are 1 pixel lower end both feet are on the ground) between you existing frames.
That's a great exploration game! and I love that 1bit halo effect!

I really liked the idea you had. Very original, congratulations!

Great game :D The graphics are pretty well made and switch from music (day) to sounds (night) is a really clever idea ;) Dodging the monsters can be pretty tough sometimes.
All in all a really good game :)

Very fun game! With some great art and a good concept, it's just overall really well made. Loved the music too. Good job!

This is so great, I not only love the concept but the execution as well, I like the graveyard theme and your game gave me Medievil vibes, well done!

This is REALLY cool. I love the environment art, especially all the little touches that hint at a story. The torchlight and the bugs hovering at the edge create an amazing sense of atmosphere. I do wish that you were able to see monsters coming from a little farther off- it feels almost unfair when your torchlight is low and they jump out of nowhere. Still found super enjoyable.

Good job. Well-made game and lets you plan ahead but still keeps you on your toes and anxious in the dark. Sets the mood well and was short and enjoyable.

This is genuinely brilliant. It's simple, creepy, the art is really good, and I appreciated that you could walk around the areas in advance to try and remember the layout before picking up the lantern. I especially loved the timer being illustrated by the gradually waning circle of light - so atmospheric

Interesting concept

Very well and vastly illustrated game, interesting concept preempting where to move beforehand, it was kind of difficult navigating away from the enemy when the field of vision became very small though.
