Surprisingly sophisticated game considering the format. It’s really well polished, I can tell you spent time on this, it seems well thought out. The first source file I opened looked similar to Go (which I like!) and TIL about the Umka language, thanks! I My favourite thing to highlight from the game has got to be the awesome transition effect when time slows down.
Thank you for the feedback. If you are interested in Umka, or the Umka engine the game was made in, feel free to visit our discord server https://discord.gg/PcT7cn59h9
Great game! I was trying to find a shoot button to destroy asteroids, a screen with controls would be useful. Awesome that you haven't made it in a standard game engine too!
I really like the colour switching with the slowdown mechanic!!
Some music would be nice as the game seems a bit quiet.
Well done man!
The controls are mentioned on the game page. There is no way to destroy the asteroids, you have to dodge them.
There is music, but it starts playing only after you've been alive for a while.
The game felt cohesive and was a blast to play. That little face and it's rockets are always what got me lol. Great game!
Pretty good, it took me a couple of tries to get the hang of it but when I did it was pretty fun, also it was a bit hard to tell what was an obstacle and what wasn't. Besides of that, it was very good, I really liked the slowdown mechanic.
Actually quite fun. What I didn't like was the readability - it wasn't immediately obvious what was an obstacle and what was a powerup. Apart from that, I really liked the slow-down-time-shader, but I believe you played music over the sound effects, which is not allowed.
I implemented the music in a way thst it stops when the sounds are played. It's just not very apparent since most of the sounds are short and they are all much louder than the music.
Really fun concept once you get the hang of the mechanics. I really liked the time slowdown mechanic it felt really good! The music and soundeffects were nice too but the music would not always play unfortunately.
