Use of the theme
Battle crackins - a tentacled monster. Crackins inject and shoot slime. Player has a x-ray scope to see through things.

This makes me really nostalgic for old newgrounds flash games, great job. Good art, well animated. Would love to see it continued.
Got stuck at talking to the captain, I guess it's not finished? Very nice original art and lots of it. Gameplay and theme is spot on.
Not sure why I would need that X-ray feature on my gun to defend my ship from horny cephalopods, but I am certainly not complaining.
I cant go further after arriving to port Crystal, how to talk to Captain?
Seems like a pretty ambitious project. Cannot dive into the story as the my adventure ened before landing on second port.
Fighting is decently made. Horizontal scroll suits perfect.
The core mechanics with x-ray is interesting and have more potential IMO.
