the water vfx pleases me immensely for some reason.
i liked the game art, spacialy the character, that outline, and the walk down animation, it is just cute,, and woow she can walk on top of watter man!! hhh, good one

This game is definitely unique. I liked the art style, especially with the animations. The music worked well, too. About the only thing that I think is missing is an ability to run. The map is large and would take a while to traverse if I just wanted to see what was on the other side...
Music is very calm and suits to theme well! I also liked the visual style, but the red color gives me little bit darkish vibes, because I associate that dark red with blood, but that's just me. :D
One of the draft versions of the art had green tiles for the ground, but it made me very confused with the water so I went with a complimentary scheme (for now)
I love how you change to a different tile and the Pixel Art looks astonishingly good. Over all really cool game :D
i like the scroll effect, and the water effet the color palet .. did you draw all the stuff by yourself ?
I did, around day 3 of the jam I had the environment decided on and did most of the art that day
