Interesting characters, a fun tale, and something different about this one that stood out. Well done. The story was warm and the characters memorable. I ship them.

While the first person perspective is nice to see used once in a while, I think it led more to a disorienting view of the interactions, particularly as the story feels a bit in media res even by the constraints of the jam, as in, I feel like I joined in half-way through a conversation between strangers and lack some important context. I could see a good story emerging from this, but on its own, it's a bit awkward.

I’ve seen a few people challenge the status quo this writing jam with some very original takes.

I really like that this is a combatless tale of mining, drinks and friendship!

It’s got a few issues, but I had a lot of fun with it.

As with past entries I try to avoid writing combat due to the constraints of the jam - but maybe that's something I need to challenge myself with for the next one.  I will admit that I had just watched Lord of the Rings for the fiftieth some time, so the dwarf/elf friendship was on my mind.  It's certainly not the most inspired of relationships.  I'm glad you enjoyed it for what it is though!

I enjoyed this story for what it was; a quaint, contained, low stakes read with fun chemistry!

Original, well narrated and with a great sense of detail.
