Loved to see internal politics and a fractured faction. Great pacing, would have liked to see a little bit of foreshadowing (perhaps mentioning explicitly that the sisters were here due to increased demonic activity). Great stuff!

I love to see stories like this that acknowledge the factions aren't monolithic! Your opening was very strong as well, doing a really efficient job of introducing the situation and developing your characters. The thing that would have really elevated this story for me, though, was a bit more exploration of the two conflicting groups of Sisters - it left me with a lot of questions and I was hoping to see Xanae and Mar really get into it.

*checks word count* I'll see what I can do, haha.

Thanks!

Great characterization--that first paragraph was excellent. The sisters really came alive for me. I wonder if the appearance of the demons could have been foreshadowed a bit more? It felt kind of deus ex machina, which isn't always a bad thing, but rang a bit artificial for me here. Still, though, I really liked the glimpse at the world you gave, and again, your characterizations were superb!

Thanks so much! I can see what you mean about the lack of foreshadowing - I think probably one well-placed line could mitigate that. Appreciate your thoughts!

This has to be one of the better tales of blue on blue I've read. I especially like the oil and water personality that either Order had. Xanae's was one of ruthless order, even if it hurt the very people the Blessed Sisters were formed to protect, mostly unyielding, possibly even uncaring.

Then there's Mar's motorcycle sisters, who gave me visions of Sucker Punch and other Grindhouse like flicks, with these irreverent sounding badass women gunning their bikes and eager to fight, but still having some cares to give. A really great contrast. Ride or die, my sci fi!

Glad the dynamic worked for you. And yes, definitely a fun vibe to write; glad it came through in reading it, too.
